Conferences & seminars are held on topical issues, after which the appropriate government department is informed of our discussions. We have permanent groups which are concerned with specific subjects i.e. health, education, arts & media, consumer affairs, science & technology, foreign affairs, social employment & housing issues. These groups hold regular meetings.

The Benevolent Fund was established for the benefit of such distressed Brother Mark Master Masons, their widows and children, or for the benefit of such masonic charities or other charitable institutions, societies and objects as the Provincial Grand Mark Lodge of Hertfordshire shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

We help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual and social potential as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities. We aim to do this by holding weekly meetings for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and through outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, canoeing, climbing etc.

Walton le Dale Recreation Society run a purpose built Community Centre and 7 acres of communal park land with a designated children's play area. The centre is in constant use by members of the local community and user groups. Fund raising is done by the charity on top of its user group income and 100% of all funds raised are used to maintain and further develop the community centre and grounds.

The charity provides relief for children with life limiting illnesses principally in the North West of England and is mainly acheived by providing holidays of a lifetime for seriously ill children.

The Charity provides benefits to the School not normally provided by the Local Education Authority. It also provides grants to promote the education of persons who are pupils or former pupils of the School who are under the 25 years of age. If income permits, grants are also given to persons under 25 years of age who are resident or who have a parent resident in the area of benefit.

Bentley Heath School Association is a Parent Teacher Association. Its primary objective is to raise funds for the purchase of additional equipment for Bentley Heath Primary School.

Provides practical and emotional support and assistance to breast cancer patients and their families. Our Counsellors offer help on a voluntary basis at the same time as working along side the professionals at the local hospital. We also offer a help line service.

Doncaster Deaf Society serves and provides a centralised, safe base meeting point of social contact for wellbeing. Services cover BSL Advocacy, Advice & Information to the Doncaster Deaf Community Borough-wide and the provision of five BSL Groups who organise a range of activities & day/weekend trip from early years-elderly: OAP Club, Social Club, Happy Hands Playgroup, Leisure Club & Drama Group.

To actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society, through adventurous activities, teamwork and personal development.We have four seperate Sections covering ages 4 to 14.We meet weekly during term time. We Camp regularily throughout the year.

The CTF is established for the advancement of education and the relief of poverty, suffering and distress amongst the students of Chundikuli Girls College and St Johns College and their community in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. We maintain a local and family history collection of objects, books, photographs and local history archive material from which we provide a service to the public via attendance at the local library, at events and fairs. Bournemouth Male Voice Choir in performing in concert provide a valuable resource for other charities to obtain valuable finances through the organisation of concerts for the public. In so doing the Choir also offer the opportunity for men of varying ages to come together and sing furthering Male Voice Choral music to the public and enhancing their own and the publics appreciation of Choral music.

We are a Scout Group, giving, education, training, sporting and recreation opportunities to children and young people. The Group is run by volunteers.

The corps is a private, totally independent voluntary organisation maintained by private subscription and fund raising, started over 118 years ago. It gives and develops moral, mental and physical training to boys and girls 6.5-18 years old to develop character, moral strength, good manners, self respect and self control via a military style organisation and structure.
