Provide information, support, advice and advocacy to carers, their families and other people they care for. We operate within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and adjoining areas.

The provision of projects and services for children, young people and adults with a learning disability and for their parents/carers, promoting choice, opportunity, independence and inclusion, and raising awareness and understanding of learning disability

The Foundation's activities focus on four main pillars which are: social inclusion; Sports participation; Education; and Health. In our first year we have emphasised sporting activities for young people, mainly in the Borough of Merton. However, activities were expanding to include older people (walking football), opportunities for female involvement and children with learning difficulties.

ART AGAINST KNIVES works to reduce the root causes of knife crime through youth-led arts initiatives that provide an alternative to violent gang culture. Our vision is to create a platform for young people to engage with their local community through creative opportunities.

We provide therapeutic, educational, recreational and sport riding for disabled people to benefit their health and well-being.

The British Youth Council, the national youth council of the UK, aims to empower young people, aged 25 and under, to have a say and be heard in the UK and overseas. This is through a programme of education, research, training, volunteering, representation and advocacy opportunities. The charity is membership based & exclusively youth-led. It was formerly registered no. 305973 until 31 March 2009.

Reuben's Retreat will be a home-from-home for families coping with the serious illness of a child, providing respite breaks and the chance to build happy memories. We already provide support, counselling and well-being for children and young people with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness (medical complexities) and their parents and siblings, and for families bereaved of a precious child.

Music in Hospitals and Care's mission is to improve the quality of life of adults and children with all kinds of illness and disability through the joy and therapeutic benefits of professionally performed live music in hospitals, hospices, care homes, special needs schools and day care centres throughout the UK.

Provide dramatic and musical education and entertainment to the local community by: producing our own plays and musicals using local talent, hosting visiting professional productions from elsewhere in the UK and beyond, showing films and National theatre "cinematic screenings", running a choir and running an Academy for Drama for young people.

The Women's Resource Centre is a charity which supports women's organisations to be more effective and sustainable. We provide training, information, resources and one-to-one support on a range of organisational development issues. We also lobby decision makers on behalf of the women's not-for-profit sector for improved representation and funding.
