Moor House exists to provide children and students who have severe developmental language disorder with an education that prepares them for life as confident and independent members of society.

The principal activity of the charity is the provision of education to boys and girls in its two schools, Langley Preparatory School and Langley School. The charity also hosts summer schools for overseas students. Taverham Hall Educational Trust Limited merged with Langley on 31.08.17. Thorpe House Educational School Trust merged with langley School on 31.10.09.

Caring for the Elderly and Disabled

It provides residential treatment services, based in Gloucestershire, for people with substance dependencies, offering a wide programme of treatment, educational and training opportunities and resettlement. It also operates Women's Centres; Gloucester, Swindon, Bristol and Bridgwater and services in Wales and from HM Prison, to address the complex needs of women who are at high risk of offending.

Management and operation of a girls' senior and junior boarding and day school at its site in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol.

Hope House Children's Hospices provides palliative care for babies, children and young adults up to the age of 25 and support for their family. Care is provided at home, in hospital and at two specially designed hospices, Hope House in Shropshire and Ty Gobaith in North Wales. Services include respite, emergency care, end of life care, social work, sibling support and counselling.

The charitable company's principle activity continues to be the management of the Hereford Cathedral Senior and Junior Schools.The charity provides education in Hereford for boys and girls from the age of 3-18.

The Charity provides relief of need and advancement of health of veterans and others in the Armed Forces Network, which includes members of the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (and regular reserves, volunteer reserves, and sponsored reserves of these bodies), and their families, dependents and support network, who have or have had mental health issues.

The principal activity is the education of girls and boys between the ages of 8 and 18 by the provision of a day school in Kingston upon Hull, the area of benefit now extending to East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
