Provision of a Community Transport service to the mid Copeland area of Cumbria

The aim of Milnthorpe Steel Band is to bring steel pan music to a wider audience through the means of private and public performances, workshops and demonstrations in the public arena. We welcome anyone from the age of 8 yrs old and upwards to come and have a go wherever we are playing.

The Friends of Arnside National School (FOANS)organise fundraising and financial support for the Children at Arnside National CofE School. The money raised goes to enrich the children experience in school by providing extra equipment and resources and subsidising school trips, residentials and in school visits from other organisations. All money raised goes directly to the children of this school.

Our PTA helps to raise funds to assist the school in purchasing items and improving the learning environment of the school.

To make grants in pursuit of charitable objects described below.

Provision of modest grants to students from the parish of Ravenstonedale who are taking courses in higher education.

Events held by committee members, also available for hire by the general public.
