HACT is a charity, social enterprise and industry-focused think/do tank established by the housing association sector.Our aim is to work with the housing sector, government, civil society and communities to develop and share innovative approaches to meeting changing needs. We seek to influence and innovate in ways which help housing providers deliver more effectively within their communities.

To relieve poverty, to advance education, and to relieve need in individuals arising from their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances, by any charitable means and in such places in the world as the Trustees from time to time decide.

The Foundation strives to? Raise educational attainment; inspire a commitment to learning? Increase skills and access to employment by connecting people to the world of work? Enable people to develop healthier and happier lives; support the development of vibrant and respectful communities? Provide more opportunities for inclusive sport and play inspiring participation and achievement;

To provide resettlement assistance and relief of financial and other charitable need for personnel who are leaving or have left the armed forces, in particular but not exclusively those who have been wounded whilst serving, by providing funding for education and training to assist them in finding work and jobs and to attain the skills required to obtain and retain work outside the armed forces.

CEME is a stunning education and business park in Rainham, east London. CEME provides skills, creates jobs and supports businesses that are revitalising London's industrial heartland. CEME brings together a range of organisations to deliver education, training and skills for students at school and college and provides routes into employment in local businesses.

St Petrocs provides services in support of people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, including outreach, resettlement, emergency accommodation and supported accommodation. We provide access to advice, support, and medical services at our resource centres and have a counselling service. We also have an employment and training programme for our residents.

The creation of paid, meaningful employment opportunities for ex-Service people, primarily disabled, together with their disabled dependants and widows/widowers.

Inspire Community Trust is involved in - Providing a range of services for people with physical and sensory imapairments (all age groups); prmoting independence and choice and empowerment; Raising disbaility awareness and promoting social inclusion; Investing in staff to devlop their skills and potential for delivering services of the highest qulality.

Bridge's work includes; providing drug treatment services and recovery focused support to individuals and families; working with people with some of the most complex needs and issues in Bradford; and providing employment, education and training services for people with significant barriers to employment.

Under the terms of the trust, the fund can make grants to young people between 5 and 25 years old, resident in the old borough of Finsbury (now part of Islington) with a preference for those resident in, or whose parents during the previous year had their business or employment in the Parish of St. Lukes Old Street, and in the opinion of the governors are in need of financial assistance.
