Facilities Charities

The charity provides three halls for the local community to use for various functions within the village, including W.I. flower club, pilates, dancing classes, dancing, stroke clubs, dog training & drama group. The charity produces pantomimes, variety shows and band concerts to raise funds.

Support for ex miners

The historic Gardens are maintained for the enjoyment of the public, for the growth and propagation of trees and plants, for the furtherance of the study and science of botany, and for the promotion of the conservation of nature, especially those rarer species of plants and trees in danger of loss of cultivation.

We provide Pre-school education to children aged from birth to 5 years old who live in and around the Whitchurch area Bristol. We do this by operating parent/carer and toddler groups in the Whitchurch Community Centre (First Steps for under 2's; Little Learners for children aged 2 years). Those aged 3 to 5 join our Ofsted Registered Pre-school, which is based in St Nicholas Church Hall.

Administration of the Lisvane Memorial Hall complex for the purposes of physical and mental training , recreation and social ,moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms,library,lectures,classes, recreations and entertainments for the benefits of the inhabitants of Lisvane without distinction of sex or political ,religious or other opinions.

For the benefit of the inhabitants of Thurston without distinction of age, sex or political, religious or other opinions by the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure-time activities. In particular the provision of an open space and a community centre. Provision of entertainment with music and dance.

Provision and maintenance of a village hall and recreation ground for social, educational and leisure-time use by the inhabitants of the neighbouhood.

PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR ORGANISATIONS THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY TO HOLD THEIR FUNCTIONS , ARTS AND CRAFTS, YOGA, BOWLING, CONCERTS AND PARTIES ETC. WE PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR YOUNG, OLD AND DISABLED PEOPLE, KITCHEN FACILITIES AND TOILETS FOR THE DISABLED. THESE FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND.

Physical and mental recreation and development for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parishes of Upper Beeding and Bramber and the immediate vicinity.

Provision of Village Hall facilities for local organisations, including hall, sports field, kitchen, pocket park, children's play area, skateboard park.Maintenence of these facilities.

To provide benefits for people over 60 years of age who are ill and need support to adequately look after themselves and who reside within a 12 mile radius of Newark Town Hall particularly those who wish to live in their own home but not to the exclusion of others who are in need.

Kingswood Community Centre is a local community centre established in 1946 to provide the people of Kingswood and the surrounding area with a place to participate in activities and to provide accommodation for groups/people to hire and meet and share interests.

Provision of village hall and recreation ground for educational, cultural, charitable and recreational activities of people of Long Sutton, Satellite Hamlets and surrounding area.

Provision of pre-school childcare for children between 2 to 5 years of age. Open daily during term time. Morning, afternoon and full day sessions available. Working to Ofsted guidelines. Providing human resources, building/facilities/open space and services.

THE CHARITY PROVIDES SPORT AND RECREATION FACILITIES INCLUDING BUILDINGS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

The Friends' aim is to assist in promoting the health, comfort and welfare of the patients, their visitors and the staff of the East Surrey Hospital by the provision of equipment, medical and otherwise, and amenities, by running a coffee shop in the Hospital and generally by supporting the charitable work of the Hospital.

Preservation Conservation of the site of Shaftesbury Abbey and making the museum garden available to the general public.

BCA is principally involved in providing a Community Hall to accommodate the activities of its Constituent Groups, as well as providing space for other activities of interest to the residents of Banstead and the surrounding areas both through local charities and on a commercial basis. The programme covers a broad range of leisure and sporting activities and is well supported.

Management of Threlkeld Village Hall

Solihull Lodge Community Centre is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents in Solihull Lodge and surrounding areas. Our mission is to create a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment where the community can connect, engage, and thrive. We hold children's parties, clubs for both adults and children, private hire with regular clubs such as Dog training and fundraising events

Provision of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Greetham, for meetings, leisure activities, classes and other forms of recreation, with the objective of improving the conditions of life of such inhabitants

Manage the provision of facilities and space for community activities

Fund raising to provide equipment and comforts for patients at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, Truro and Volunteers to welcome and guide patients through the Hospital, to provide tea and coffee services to patients awaiting appointments, a library trolley and a Friends Coffee Shop providing tea, coffees and other refreshments

Community centre
