Equal Arts is the Northern Region's arts & older people's agency. The Foundation will primarily make grants to existing charities. The Laura Centre offers free bereavement counselling services for adults, families and young people. We provide holistic support to parents who's child has died and children and young people 5-25 years old who's parent or sibling has died. The centre also supports those in anticipatory grief. Deliver services to families living in temporary unsuitable acommodation. We run a drop-in for parents & children, respite playgroup, after school club. Families have access to one to one advice, social work & counselling support, adult groups and classes, cooking & laundry facilities. During school holidays activities are provided for school age children and annual summer programme for families.

Alternatives provides mental health and holistic wellbeing support to marginalised women, and by extension their families, living in Newham. We do this by offering free and accessible talking therapy, through advocacy support and community projects and by providing meaningful volunteering and employment opportunities.

Starfish provides crisis intervention and holistic care services for children made vulnerable and orphaned by HIV/AIDS in southern Africa. We also provide training for local partners and volunteer caregivers to enable them to deliver better quality care to more children.

Changes Bristol is a mental health charity that is peer led and provides peer support groups and peer support networks for people who suffer mental distress throughout Bristol and the surrounding area. Our support meetings happen at the same time and place each week. We provide a number of interventions including our Steps to Recovery programme and other wellbeing workshops.
