Prevention-based learning designed to increase resilience, wellbeing and mental health, and to alleviate emotional suffering. Programmes target youth aged 9-25, parents, educators and communities. All programmes, learning and content aim to help people deal with adversity, loss and difficulty and be better equipped to deal with life's challenges.

KingsCare League of Friends is a Devon based patient support group that runs a wide range of activities and support services for those in need within the Newton Abbot area with the aid of volunteers eg volunteer car service to medical appointments and social activities, befriending, social groups, carer support, exercise groups, benefits advice, advocacy, shopping.

Pelican is dedicated to helping those with cancer live well for longer. We achieve this by supporting medical research and education to improve surgery for bowel cancer and its associated secondary disease, particularly in the liver. Pelican has become a 'centre of excellence' for sharing life-saving, life-enhancing knowledge and skills with cancer teams and specialists.

RAY Ceredigion provides activities that improve the health and wellbeing of children, young people, families, those with disabilities and older people, with a focus on those that are most vulnerable and disadvantaged in the county of Ceredigion

THIS RECREATIONAL CHARITY IS CONCERNED WITH THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. WE OFFER ACTIVITIES GEARED TOWARDS HEALTHY LIVING THROUGH VARIOUS SPORTING AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG AND OLD. THESE INCLUDE KEEP FIT. DANCE CLASSES, BOWLS, FOOTBALL, ETC

THE PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO PROMOTE RESEARCH LEADING TO A CURE FOR ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND TO PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH. THE CHARITY MEETS ITS AIMS AND OBJECTIVES BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO ORGANSIATIONS THAT FUND AND PROMOTE RESEARCH.

Supply quality information online and in leaflets. Provide support through nurse helpline, support groups and online support forum. Raise awareness in both healthcare community and general public.Fund medical research into effective treatments and a cure.

WE OFFER CLASSES IN MEDITATION AND BUDDHISM BOTH FOR BUDDHISTS AND NON-BUDDHISTS, IN A WAY THAT IS RELEVANT TO CONTEMPORARY WESTERN LIFE. WE OFFER TRAINING FOR BUDDHIST ORDINATION, FOR THOSE WHO ASK FOR IT, AS WELL AS APPLICATIONS OF THE BUDDHA'S TEACHING TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF ALL. THE CENTRE IS OPEN TO ALL. WE WELCOME SCHOOL GROUPS.

We provide a range of specialist interventions offering support, advice and guidance to young people 13-25, and their families, facing known route causes of youth homelessness. Those that are at risk of NEET, relationship breakdowns, or with mental health & therapeutic needs.

We host a mother and toddler group, a pre-school, 3 senior and 1 junior football team, social and team skittles, shortmat bowls, darts teams, snooker teams, a whist and bridge club, bingo, oap's group. We subsidise twice weekly lunches, we host functions, organise coach trips, children's Christmas party, monthly police surgeries and legal advice, occassional MP's surgeries and a polling station.

We are the UK HQ of the Free Methodist Church with 25 Churches in GB, 5 in NI, 3 affiliates in England,1 in Eire. In 2016 we furthered our religious and charitable work by operationally, financially, and spiritually supporting new and existing churches in the UK, raising funds/volunteers for international childcare, a missionary hospital in Rwanda, other overseas mission and humanitarian relief .

Principally engaged in supporting marriage and family life by providing couple and relationship counselling, family counselling, young peoples counselling, psychosexual therapy and relationship education and training programmes.

Hope UK equips children and young people to make drug-free choices by training suitable volunteers to become Drug Educators in their own communities. They work directly with children and young people, but also provide training for those who have responsibility for them (eg, parents and youth workers). Generation Hope is Hope UK's youth membership branch.

Advantage! aims to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of young people and adults in Barrow-in-Furness and the South Lakes areas, through the medium of rugby league, multi-sports, wellbeing activities and healthy lifestyle initiatives. Advantage! aim to support people who suffer disadvantages and now deliver a programme of sport and wellbeing activities to over 800 people per week.

Mount Elim Evangelical Church undertakes the following religious activities and services to the local community: - Sunday services (morning & evening)- Sunday school (during morning service)- Weekly Bible study meetings for ladies & men's groups- Weekly meeting for Bible teachings & prayer- Weekly mother and toddler group- Visiting the local community e.g. nursing homes, hospitals etc

First Class Foundation A charity that supports young people aged BAME 13-25 from the west midlands to tackle youth violence and build mental health resilience & connect them to their purpose by exposing them to new opportunities.We are passionate about challenging the over representation and under representation of BAME young people in key sectors.

To help people with mental health difficulties make the transition into mainstream society equipped with the skills and social networks necessary for a meaningful and hope-filled life. This is achieved by delivering pottery and art classes in a beautiful bespoke facility that is shared by the general public. The shared activities create a non-stigmatising and asset based approach to mental health.

THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PROTECT HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF TRANSPORT OF BLOOD, DRUGS, HUMAN TISSUES, AND OTHER MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS BETWEEN HOSPITALS, BLOOD TRANSFUSION BANKS, AND OTHER MEDICAL FACILITIES, IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, TO ASSIST THE NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN WALES.
