Donations to the charity are used to provide services and equipment to patients that are not normally provided under the terms and conditions of the GP contract

To provide assistance to the sick who live within the Parish of Fulbeck, Lincolnshire.

The object of the Charity is to relieve in cases of need persons resident in Tansley who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.

To provide recordings, on CDs and audio tapes, of local newspapers for blind and handicapped local residents.

Fundraising to provide medical and other equipment needed by health professionals and other healthcare providers.

We record and send out talking newspapers for Boston & South Holland for the blind or partially sighted or those who have difficulty in reading the written word

The Trust's principal activity is making grants for charitable purposes. ENABLING LITERACY THROUGH EDUCATION - The Trusts vision is to help equip Great Britain's disadvantaged youth with sufficient skills to enter this ever-changing world and build happy and fruitful lives for themselves. Supplying items of equipment for residents of the hospital who require more specialist items/ to improve their stay e.g. Special Beds, Chairs, Televisions, Electric fans, Telephones, Christmas presents. Gardening services (planting, maintenance etc)Providing a Trolley shop service to the residents three times a week.Raising funds by public activities (Ploughman's Lunches, Carnival stall)

Grants in money or kind to the sick and needy of the inhabitants of Chapeltown and Edgworth wards.

To provide funds for the welfare of blind or partially sighted people.

The charity runs two ambulances which are used for in transporting patients to and from hospices, hospitals, etc. The charity also runs day care projects for the chronically ill.

Provision of an Emergency Pre-Hospital Immediate Medical Care Service at the request of North West Ambulance Service. The Charity raises money to buy equipment & pay for training for doctors in the Northwest of the UK (Cumbria, Lancashire & North Cheshire) to enable them to volunteer their services to this aim as well as coordinating their governance & training.

Arrange entertainment through trips and gatherings for Deaf Children within Solihull Borough for families and sibblings.

Hospital Radio station for the patients of St Bartholomews Hospital, and all others of the Barts Health Trust

IN OR TOWARDS EMPLOYING A NURSE OR NURSES FOR POOR INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF BRIGHAM AND THE ADJOINING NEIGHBOURHOOD OR ANY PART THEREOF OR TOWARDS THE NURSING OF THE SICK OF THE COUNTY OF CUMBERLAND, OR FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES IN THE SAID COUNTY.

To establish a medical centre which will provide for the needs for continuing education of and research and study by all members of the medical dental and allied professions practising within the area or in connection with the Epsom Hospital Group

PROVISION OF RECORDED MEMORY STICKS TO BLIND OR PARTIALLY SIGHTED OR DISABLED PEOPLE.

Supporting Masonic charities in province of "Hampshire & Isle of Wight". Supporting Masonic charities nationally "Grand Lodge of England-Wales". Donations to some named charitable institutions. Projects for childrens activities & care of the elderly, hospices & hospital appeals.

PROVISION OF FUNDING FOR HOLIDAYS FOR CHILDREN/ YOUNG ADULTS WITH LEARNING OR OTHER DISABILITIES

Various weekly meetings for (a) discussion of Vedanta philosophy and meditation. (b)taking part in the Mevlevi whirling ceremony and performance of the Mevlevi Ayin, and (c) practice of the music and learning new Ayins for the ceremony. Receiving e-mail contact globally from the Saraswati website, and conducting dialogue on-line to provide information to contacts about Vedanta and Sufism.

We provide treatment for people suffering from past or present addiction to drugs and/or alcohol. This is mostly residential treatment, however we do also offer a limited service for people living in the community. We also provide supported accommodation and after-care services. Although we are based in Bournemourth and Southampton we take clients from all over England.

We run a teabar in Outpatients Dept at Shotley Bridge Hospital. Outside of this we run fundraising events ie coffee mornings, seasonal fayre's and a flag day. All monies raised go back into the community via medical equipment. Patient comforts on wards & in Outpatient Dept.
