The principal activity of Derbyshire Mind is to promote the preservation and safeguarding of mental health and the relief of persons suffering from mental disorder.

Church services; Christian courses and events; youth work; children's work; pre-school; coffee shop and bookshop; counselling; operation of community centre; schools' work; community work; assisting homeless people; weddings and funerals; support for overseas missionaries and aid workers; assisting people with addictions; providing food parcels and furniture for the destitute.

Provision of a range of support, recovery and wellbeing services for people with mental health problems including community services, social activities, counselling, peer support and therapeutic groups. The charity also provides training for other agencies and helps to raise awareness and overcome the stigma and discrimination experienced by people with mental health problems.

Working in the field of Mental Health. Offering direct support to people in crisis, suicide prevention, outreach and advocacy, support for families of those suffering from poor mental health as well as friends and colleagues. Group work, peer support, talks and lectures to lower the stigma surrounding mental health. Advice and signposting. Promotion of Mental Health.

Disseminating the knowledge which promotes and actualises physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, balance and well-being; in particular the techniques of Sahaja Yoga meditation and the teachings of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Age Concern Luton provides a wide range of services to meet the different needs of older people and their carers in Luton. This includes home support, gardening service, a visiting scheme, telephone club, home repair scheme, lunch and social clubs, advice and information, enhancing lives scheme, hospital discharge service, advocacy, mental health and dementia drop in sessions.

A local place-based grant maker based in Wakefield district. We give grants to local organisations who are benefitting their communities.

Nafsiyat provides intercultural psychotherapy and counselling to diverse cultural, ethnic and linguistic communities. Therapeutic help is offered to those experiencing emotional and psychological problems. Clinical supervision and training relating to intercultural therapy are also delivered. Nafsiyat works in partnership with therapeutic and community organisations.

Support to women and girls with complex needs. Provides one-to-one practical and emotional support, advice and advocacy, counselling and psychotherapy and therapeutic group programmes.

Art Shape works with individuals, communities and organisations to combat exclusion from the arts, with particular focus on working with adults facing disabling barriers such as physical disability, learning difficulties, mental health service users and survivors and those experiencing the difficulties associated with ageing.

CamSight supports people with low vision or blindness in Cambridgeshire, enhancing independence, wellbeing and inclusion. We offer home, phone and community-based support with concessions, benefits and grants, equipment and assistive technology, emotional support and counselling. We also run a network of peer support groups, provide volunteering opportunities, and facilitate accessible activities.

We publish unique Touch to See books which enable blind and partially sighted people, young and old, to explore and enjoy the world of pictures. Our purpose is to relieve the social and educational isolation that they suffer throughout their lives. These unique books are available throughout Britain and Ireland to all visually impaired people completely free from our postal library service.
