For the benefit of staff and patients

Daycare centre providing a range of educational, therapeutic & social activities to adults recovering from mental ill health. The aim is to stimulate, motivate and offer opportunities for people to learn, become more independent & integrated into community facilities & activities.

Assistance to pupils or former pupils of Christ's Hospital who are in need, hardship or distress.

The aim of the Fund is to apply the clear yearly income for the relief in cases of sickness of seafarers or if not required for this purpose for other persons in Egypt.

The trust maintains a monastry with five resident monks (mostly of Burmese origin) who perform religious ceremonies as required. Major Buddhist festivals are celebrated at the Peace Pagoda. Meditation is taught to anyone interested and regular sessions are held for practitioners of varying experience. The Pagoda is open to visitors and groups are welcome.

The charity operates in the whole of the UK by making appropriate grants to sick or disabled persons of Italian nationality or descent, or those caring for them, as well as similar organisations operating in the UK.

The Friends raise funds to provide amenities & equipment to benefit patients & staff at North Cambs Hospital & associated homes & clinics in Wisbech. The Friends are anxious to assist with maintaining & where possible improving upon facilities at the hospital and help with the provision of equipment that otherwise would not be available.

Raising funds by means of Donations, Social Events and Running Tea Bar for patients&staff and then donating the money raised to Abergele Hospital for the purchase of equipment

We are a health and well-being charity whose aim is to promote the physical and emotional health of people in the city of Derby and Derbyshire County living with HIV and other long term health conditions.

Raise funds for the benefit of Crowborough Hospital, its patients and staff; maintain a hospital shop, operate a Social Day Service at the Hospital Day Centre, and provide transport through 2 wheelchair accessible vehicles utilising volunteer drivers.

Our purpose is to promote the scientific study, both pure and applied, of all psychological and behavioural matters related to human reproduction. This is achieved by funding workshops, providing student prizes and bursaries for conference attendance.

The charity aims to relieve the suffering of women suffering from post-natal depression or depressionarising from pregnancy. The charity offers women advice, support and information about the illness. The charity promotes research into the causes of post-natal depression anddissemination of the results of that research.

We teach languages Hindi and sanskrit also recitation classes for bhagwad gita, ramayan and upnishdas are held on weekdays and sundays.

The support and treatment of patients and research into breast cancer. The charity achieves these aims by financing the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment unable to be funded by the National Health Service. Furthermore the charity provides funds to support education about breast cancer in the community and maintains a specialised breast cancer library.

Counselling and charitable works

The Friend's exists to support the work of St Mary's Hospital through grants for equipment not available from NHS Funds and to improve facilities for patients. It holds weekly sales of books and memorabilia run by volunteers. It holds an annual Bazaar and raffle and holds flag days to raise funds.
