Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care (Phyllis Tuckwell Memorial Hospice Ltd) provides specialist supportive and end of life care to adult patients, their carers and families, living with an advanced or terminal illness, including cancer, neurological conditions, heart and lung disease, etc

As specialists in end of life care, our primary objective is the care and support of our patients, their families and their friends. This takes place in both our extensive community and within our purpose built hospice. Education and research are important secondary objectives in our work, and like our patient care they are supported through our fundraising activities and our high street shops.

The relief of sickness and injury by the provision of emergency medical services and equipment and in particular by the provision of a helicopter air ambulance service or other emergency transportation wholly or mainly within the area served by the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

To promote holistic care for those with a limited life expectancy, whose disease has entered the palliative phase, respecting their individuality & choice. Support is provided at home, as an In/Out-patient or via Day Therapy, ensuring the best possible quality of life. Our services aim to meet the needs of our patients' and carers at all stages of their journey.

Their activities are providing eye care to under developed countries in Asia and Africa, deliver short term relief through mobile eye camps, build eye hospitals in various countries in Asia and Africa to provide eye treatment,. They also establish training centres in different countries and train HR for prevention of blindness projects and provide School Eye-Health programs.

The Huo Family Foundation is a grant-giving foundation based in London. Its mission is to support education, communities and the pursuit of knowledge. The Foundations current focus are in the five main areas, education, neuroscience and psychology, public policy, the arts and scientific research.

Promote research for the benefit of the public into the cause, nature, treatment and cure of Epidermolysis Bullosa and other related medical conditions.To relieve physical and mental illness and distress among persons suffering from EB by the provision of practical advice, guidance and support for the persons responsible for their welfare

The charity runs three hospices providing specialist palliative care services to patients through inpatient and day care, clinics, support at home from teams of community nurses and a 24-hour helpline. Families receive social, pastoral and bereavement support from teams of professionals at all three hospices. An education centre provides training and education for professionals and the public.

IT IS INTENDED THAT THE CHARITY WILL FOCUS ON REVENUE FUNDING FOR RESEARCH INTO CAUSES AND TREATMENT.

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care support people of all ages across West Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire who are affected by a progressive life-limiting illness, and those who care for them.Our local support extends beyond patient palliative, end of life care and bereavement needs by supporting from diagnosis and working in the community to reach more people earlier.

The provision of palliative care

The principal activities are the provision of accommodation, care and support in community based settings in the Thames Valley for people with enduring mental health needs. The charity provides services in the following general categories: Supported tenancies, Adult care homes, Domiciliary Care services and Children and Young People's services.

We campaign to give disabled children and their families a voice and we fund pioneering medical research to give hope for the future.
