VOLUNTARY PROVISION OF IMMEDIATE PREHOSPITAL MEDICAL CARE WORKING IN SUPPORT OF South West Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

The charity makes grants to organisations engaged in activities in keeping with the trusts' objectives; prevention of the abuse of alcohol and other substances and to assist persons suffering from such abuse and to help their families and dependents.

Supports hospitals and medical education in African countriesMakes grants to individuals in African countries for the relief of poverty

SCaRF aims to promote research into the causes, prevention and treatment of skin cancer generally, and malignant melanoma in particular. It aims to publish the results of such research and thus to help cut significantly the number of new cases of skin cancer each year in the UK. As a result to significantly cut the number of deaths from the disease.

THOSE ENTITLED TO HELP ARE DENOTED AS 'STUDENTS AND FORMER STUDENTS OF MEDICINE AND DENTISTRY WHO ATTEND OR ATTENDED EITHER OF THE FOLLOWING INSTITUTIONS AND THE DEPENDENTS OF SUCH PERSONS: THE LONDON HOSPITAL MEDICAL COLLEGE, THE ST BARTHOLOMEW'S AND THE ROYAL LONDON SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AND DENTISTRY AT QUEEN MARY AND WESTFIELD COLLEGE' (NOW KNOWN AS 'QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON').

The principal activity of the Charity is to promote spiritual and physical well being by alternative medicine procedures.

TO RELIEVE SICKNESS IN PARTICULAR BY ADVANCING AND PROMOTING EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN THE TREATMENT OF TRAUMA AND ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE PROGRESS AND DEVELOPMENT OF THIS FIELD OF SURGERY, AND TO DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.

The League's activities are personal service and fund raising. The League is responsible for the Hospital shop which opens each weekday from 10 am until 8pm and restricted hours at the weekend and public holidays. The profits from sales along with other moneys raised are used to purchase items for the benefit of the hospital and patients.

A weekday mental health service user Peer Support "Drop In" with a two course lunch facility for a contribution.Help with welfare benefits and, developing worthwhile meaningful occupation along with, aiding effective coping strategies with clients and support to live in the communitySome counselling availability.Management/administration by a part-time psychologist.

Sporting - To promote sport as a positive focus in the health and wellbeing in disabled people's lives.

Provide accomodation for men over the age of 60 years or disabled in Lincolnshire

To us ethe income to award a Fellowship in clinical research in hospitals in the Metropolitan area of London. The research must concern diseases such as usually treated at a General Hospital, excluding tropical and rare diseases.

Provision of equipment and amenities for the benefit of patients at Sevenoaks Hospital and promotion of local awareness of facilities available at the hospital for the benefit of the local community.

Based in Cardigan we serve the town and district as a care and support group for families who have someone suffering with cancer.

Satkaar operates under a service level agreement with AH & CS Warwickshire County Council and offers day care and other support services for elderly Asian ladies and ladies with mental health problems living in the South Warwickshire area in a culturally appropriate and ethically sensitive environment. Service users are referred by Warwickshire County Council. Service operates Monday to Friday.

Like all village halls in the country we are an independently run charity; serving the local communities. We fundraise for various charities and for the upkeep and maintenance of our hall; we run weekly bingo sessions and line dancing classes. We also host various events eg psychic evenings, quizzes, race nights and dances etc.We are available for private hire at a reasonable cost.

ESTABLISHED FOR THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS AND DELIVERED THROUGH COUNSELLING AND OTHER MEANS.

We provide a free, confidential voluntary service offering extra care to those living with life limiting illnesses and support to their carers in Leighton Buzzard, Linslade and the district. Our service provides an opportunity for clients to have someone to talk to outside of the family unit, or for their carers to have some respite.

The Centre is situated on the Market Place, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.The Centre is accessible to large parts of the community, at present we currently have approx 700 visitors per week to the centre. They attend different groups for example:- Before & after school club, Pre School Playgroup, Holiday Club, Mental Health groups, Youth Club, Coffee Bars & Market Research groups.

The Trustees administer the charity in accordance with the objectives of the trust deed. The Trustees make grants to registered charities. There is a separate Cancer Fund within the charity the income of which is used to support charities involved in any major way with cancer treatment, research or relief.

To raise monies to relieve patients and former patients of Andover War Memorial Hospital and Healthcare centres and other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled or infirm and generally to support the charitable works of the Hospital and Healthcare centres

Whittington Babies was established to; preserve and protect the health of babies in the baby unit of Whittington Hospital by the provision of equipment and facilities which would not otherwise by provided and to relieve pressure and protect the health of parents of babies who are or who have been in the baby unit or who have been stillborn at Whittington Hospital.

Fundraising to support Wincanton Community Hospital by running Fetes, Garden Parties, Dances, Charity Draw, Race Days, Easter Egg Hunt, and Xmas Fayres etc. The funds are used to provide support to patients at the Hospital along with improvements to equipment, buildings and facilities.
