The preservation of the motoring and aviation heritages of Brooklands and environs; using that heritage to inspire future generations through the Museum's education service; and the provision of a world class tourist attraction whose popularity will attract visitor revenues to pay for the preservation and education.

The Charity preserves the buildings, grounds and chattels of Arundel Castle for public benefit to whom it gives access for a minimum of 100 days per annum. To maximise the public enjoyment and education by refurbishing and improving displays and the condition of artefacts, supported by hosting special events such as jousting, civil war re-enactments and other events in keeping with its history.

To carry on in Great Britain schools at or by means of which students may obtain educational instruction in languages mathematics geography and history and all other subjects whatsoever that may be included in a commercial, technical, scientific, classical or academic education.

The charity took over on 1 April 2017 from the previous unincorporated charity no 1040942 set up in 1994 to preserve and maintain Dulwich Picture Gallery and its collection for the enjoyment of the public, mount art exhibitions and displays, and run a programme of public events and educational activities.
