Education of the public by the promotion, support, assistance and improvement of the Oxfordshire County Museum in Woodstock through the activity of a group of Friends

A village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Little Waltham and the neighbourhood thereof without distinction of political, religious, of other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

1) The relief of persons resident in the Ecclesiastical Parishes of St Decuman, Watchet and St Peter, Williton who are in need, hardship or distress. 2) The maintenance and repair of the Parish Church of St Decuman, Watchet.

The Housing, Care and maintenance of the Wolseley collection. The provision and arrangement in the wolseley room, or elsewhere of lectures, talks etc on subjects of argiculture and horticulture, garden design, history of places and lands in sussex and the history of old agricultural customs. Purchase of books, letters, maps etc and other objects of interest to be added to the wolseley collection.

Religious Activities

The institute's primary activity is the encouragement and development of oil painting. Exhibitions of work by members and selected non-members are held annually at the Mall Galleries, London. Significant prizes are on offer. Opportunities for inter-action with members are featured.

The Village Hall provides a place for the local comunitee to hold events as part of it's fundraising activities to maintain it's Grade 2 Listed building status. It also fulfils a need for a meeting place for local events and parties as well as cultural and spiritual meetings.

The object of the Army Records Society is to edit and publish manuscripts relating to the Army and to reprint works of military interest.

The Museum Ethnographers Group (MEG) is a subject specialist network (SSN) providing professional support and advice for people working with or studying world cultures collections in museums. Our main activities are the annual conference and journal, quarterly newsletter, website and enquiries services. We also hold regular study visits and training days for members.

Collection of information and artefacts concerning the history and development of hot air/ gas ballooning and airships in the UK, to provide displays and written material.

The Society promotes the study of labour history by: production of a journal, Labour History Review; holding and sponsoring conferences; bursaries for postgraduate speakers at such conferences; bursaries for (doctoral-level) research and BA/MA dissertations in labour history; grants for conferences and public events in labour history, especially if targeted at a wider audience.

Maintenance and upkeep of premises for hire to the community for private and public functions.

We didn't have many activities during 2020 due to the Pandemic when we couldn't have face to face meetings. However, Scouts had a very active Zoom meetings In early part of year, Beavers celebrated Chinese new year, had a night hike and cooked pancakes. Cubs visited a synagogue, made pancakes, visited a Fire station and some went to the Science Museum. Scouts went ice skating, had a Winter camp

The objectives of the Society are to collect, index, co-ordinate, publish and make accessible, in the interests of genealogy, any documents or records relating to the ancient County of Surrey; to promote the preservation of such documents or records; to encourage the study of genealogy; to assist educationally, by lectures or otherwise, in record research. Regular Meetings at six venues.

General benefit for the inhabitants of Alcester and upkeep and repair of the Parish Church

The society organises ten lectures each year on the decorative and fine arts. It has a church recorders group whose researches produce records of the fabric and contents of churches for presentation. Volunteers assist museums and other institutions with the cataloguing and maintenance of heritage property. The society makes grants to support arts projects in the community.

To help make young people good citizens through the medium of waterbourne and adventure activities following the history and tenets of the Royal Navy

The charity holds fundraising events and organised occasional activities to assist the work of Maidstone's museums and create greater access to their collections. The charity operates a Friends scheme and applies for grant funding to enable it to assist in the furtherance of public education by way of supporting, promoting, assisting and improving the Maidstone Museums and Art Gallery.

Family History

Provides and maintains a village hall for the provision of community activities.

Museum exhibition has now been incoroprated into the new Firing Line Museum at Cardiff Castle. Research and conservation has continued throughout the year.

Bancroft's Decorative and Fine Arts Society is a member society of NADFAS - National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts - serving a mature suburban area on the Greater London / Essex borders. Its principal activity is to provide a competent programme of lectures, study days & visits on a wide range of art & art history topics. Monthly lectures are delivered by NADFAS approved lecturers.

Hold meetings with educational speakers. Visit places of interest, museums, historical houses & castles. On line Courses via national WI

A variety of community activities including parish council meetings, local societies - amenity, bridge, history for example - leisure classes (pilates, line dancing) toddlers' group, art exhibitions, drama productions and private parties.
