Museum dedicated to life and times of soldiers of The Cheshire Yeomanry, The 22nd (CHESHIRE) Regiment, The Mercian Regiment and C Sqn RMLY Exhibits show history of regiments raised in Cheshire spanning 3 Centuries.Assists in research for individuals tracing family history.Extra commemmorative exhibitions throughout the year.

The Museum Trust will consolidate its current position and increase visitor numbers and visitor enquiries. It aims to enhance the collection to include the current activities of the AGC and throught the Association of Winchester Military Museums deliver an enhanced educational programme.

ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF PUBLIC ROAD PASSENGER TRANSPORT AND IN PARTICULAR IN THE HISTORY OF THOSE COMPANIES AND TYPES OF VEHICLES OPERATED THROUGH THE THAMES VALLEY AND GREAT WESTERN ROAD TRANSPORT CORRIDORS. CURRENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE VINTAGE BUS RUNNING DAYS WHERE THE PUBLIC CAN EXPERIENCE BYGONE TRAVEL, RESTORATION OF HERITAGE VEHICLES, AND RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS.

Our Skills and facilities allow us to work with the community in several ways;Youth Work - Regular youth clubs, Cultural, Scientific & historical engagement.The Arts - Drama, Film & Media Sessions, Theatre, Radio and Podcasting.Health - Allotments, GYO & Food to Fork Sessions as well as over 55s exercise.Social Welfare - Environment, Social welfare, consultations & employability.

Raising awareness of our current project, promoting membership of the charity and raising funds - the project being to progress the restoration of a unique, 1918 built Great Western heavy freight steam locomotive

The Merchant Taylors maintain the 14th century guild hall (making it available for use by the public) and conduct the dayt to day business of the guild.Financial grants are made to needy young people from the York area to assist their advancement in the fields of art, craftsmanship and music.
