The Trust is working to preserve a major historic building, the Llanfyllin Union Workhouse in Montgomeryshire, and to give it a viable community use. It is creating a facility to enrich people's lives through music and the arts; education and awareness of history, heritage and the environment. It provides space for local enterprises and for visitors as well as a Workhouse History Centre.

Our work rests on the principles of participation with local communities, working to give people a voice using a choice of creative mediums.Our projects involve using mediums such as film making, animation, oral history interviews, fine art, design, photography and interactive.

World War Two Remembrance Museum

To advance the education of the public with regard to a history of Suffolk and the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway in particular by maintenance of a museum and by restoring and operating a demonstration railway, operations, equipment and engineering crafts.

To run the annual steam rally in order to advance the education of the public by increasing knowledge of and interest in historical road going and other steam engines , historic agricultural equipment and machinery and other traditional country activities.

The NBHT role is to protect, preserve and make available to the public the archives and artefacts which together make up the National Brewery Collection. To promote a greater understanding of the history of brewing and the role of public houses. To seek sources of funding as appropriate for repair and restoration of the archive and artefacts.

Benington Community Heritage Trust was formed in November 2007 to preserve for the benefit of the people of Benington village and the nation the historical, architectural and constructional heritage in and around Benington village. The first project being considered is the acquisition, restoration and adaptation of the redundant church of All Saints for a new use.

The SYTT restores vintage buses and exhibits them, by holding open days and running days for the educational benefit of the public. The vehicle collection is generally focused on, but not limited to the South Yorkshire area.

50% of income, after deduction of expenses, is given to the Venice in Peril Fund for the restoration of Venice. The remaining 50% is given to charities involved in music therapy or the development and nurturing of music talent.

Parallel Histories is a UK educational charity, founded in 2017, to improve the life chances of disadvantaged young people and promote social cohesion through innovation in humanities teaching. We empower teachers to teach controversial history by providing training, educational resources, and debating for young people. Through these three main activities, we work with over 1110 secondary schools.

We promote and expand public knowledge and appreciation of art, literature and social history from a female perspective, through restorations, exhibitions, and education and cultural initiatives. Calliope Arts is based in London and carries out many of its programmes in Florence, Italy.

The Armenian Institute is dedicated to making Armenian culture and history a living experience through innovative programmes, educational resources, workshops, academic events, exhibits and performances.

Find new uses for old buildings by adapting them to generate renewable energy. Current project: Howsham Mill, North Yorkshire, an 18th century watermill which we are restoring for use as an environmental study/community centre. The waterwheel plus two Archimedean Screw turbines will provide power for the building itself, and an income from electricity sales to support the project in the future.

The De Morgan Foundation holds an extensive collection of arts and crafts ceramics by the Victorian ceramicist William De Morgan and oil paintings and drawings by the artist Evelyn De Morgan. The charity's primary objective is the "provision and maintenance of the collection" to a public audience, which the Foundation achieves at its museum, though exhibitions, and a public programme.

Bethesda Foundation fosters personal development and income generation through the arts. It re-introduces local indigenous people to their (now extinct) /Xam heritage and contributes to South african history by exploring San mythology in contemporary quilts and prints which are sold to museums and corporations. The Bethesda Arts Centre's work includes poverty relief, social and health issues.

The Harrison Zoological Museum Trust is a registered scientific institution (CITES No. GB010), which promotes biodiversity conservation and environmental protection, primarily in the Palaeotropics and subtropics, through research, capacity building and working with local communities.

The aim of the Trust is to raise funds for the development and continued support of the Museum of Oxford.

The 24 two bedroom single storey terraced homes, were fully occupied at the end of the year.The homes all meet the Government "Decent Homes Standard", and an asset management strategy is in place to maintain the homes to the highest standards.A waiting list is maintained and over 100 applicants are on the list.

Music in Country Churches was established as a charitable trust in 1989. It has two aims: (1 )to assist churches in rural regions of England and Wales with holding concerts of classical music; (2) to raise funds to assist those churches with the costs of their repair and maintenance. The Charity is particularly keen to provide performance opportunities to young and emerging musicians.

The organisation exists to celebrate the nineteenth century British author Jane Austen by: promoting the appreciation and study of the life, work and times of Jane Austen and her family; preserving the manuscripts, letters and memorabilia of Jane Austen and her family; continuing a programme of scholarly publications; and supporting the work of Jane Austen's House, Chawton.

Restore & preserve the Steam Tug 'Brent' of 1945, as an example of London's dockland heritage & to sail her in U.K & European waters. Brent is based for public view on the waterfront at Maldon Essex. As a museum ship she is open to the public 10 -16 times a year. Currently a static exhibit, the trustees and a group of volunteers are restoring her to enable her to steam again.
