The advancement of public education particularly in the History, Literature and Arts of the County of Devon, City of Exeter and of the South West of England generally and particularly by the provision and maintenance of a Library, Readiong Rooms and educational facilities and the advancement of heritage by the preservation of number 7 Cathedral Close Exeter for the public benefit.

Provision of room hire for the benefit of local groups, societies and other organisations

operating primarily throughout Yorkshire, Cumbria, the North East of England and Scotland but also nationally as a building preservation trust and an impartial advisory body offering guidance to those interested in the enhancement and protection of the historic environment in both rural and urban areas, providing training and education in traditional building and engineering heritage skills.

Athelstan Museum Malmesbury operates within Malmesbury Town Hall. It also owns and manages the Julia and Hans Rausing Building, a restored former Moravian Church at 12B Oxford Street in Malmesbury as a cultural and educational centre.

We own, maintain and operate the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway B Class tank locomotive 19B, using her to educate and inform the public about the DHR and heritage engineering

The principal activity of the charity is the advancement of public education in the history, economy, geology and other features of the Dudley Canal Tunnel and Inland Waterways. In furtherance of the objectives the charity operates passenger vessels through the Dudley Canal Tunnel and on other canals in the region.

It is a registered museum.

The Friends of H.O.P.E funds the work of charities working in the Nilgiri Hills region of Tamil Nadu. and is principally engaged in relief of poverty and creating sustainable futures, whilst encouraging eco-restoration, bio-diversity, improving health,education/training. The Ipswich Transport Museum exists to preserve the transport and engineering history of the Ipswich area. It does this through the operation of a Museum in Cobham Road Ipswich, through its website and the organisation of external events such as exhibitions, rallies, lectues and public acces to its archives.

The object of the charity is to advance public education by acquiring and restoring a mobile collection of historic public transport vehicles (Buses) and to establish facilities for their public exhibition.

The Charity owns the freehold of a building located at 7 Paddenswick Road London W6 0UA. It is provided to The John Betts School Foundation for the operation of a Primary School. Through its investments in property and listed investments The John Betts School Foundation provides funds for the repair and maintenance of the Fabric and the building.

The key activities are to promote, protect, restore and create natural and constructed blue infrastructure, e.g. ponds, rivers and sustainable drainage features, to provide multiple benefits for the public and wildlife to combat climate change, deliver enhanced and resilient ecosystems and natural capital for amenity, biodiversity, educational, wellbeing, aesthetic and conservation purposes.

Guildford Area U3a organises in excess of 100 groups for persons retired or semi-retired. For an annual donation members are able to attend groups in Art,Crafts,Discussion,Drama,Games,Health Fitness & Leisure,History Languages, Literature, Music, Research and the Sciences.

Playgroup funded by Early Years Grant, fee paying parents and FundraisingFunds raised are for new equipment, summer trip, christmas presents, repairs and maintenance etc.

The Somerset Building Perservation Trust acts as an organisation of "last resort" to restore and repair buildings of historic interest which would otherwise be lost.

The principal objects of the Charity are to provide funds for:1) the preservation and repair of the College of Arms building2) the establishment and maintenance of a Museum of Heraldry for the benefit of the public3) such other legally charitable purposes in connection with the College of Arms as the trustees and the College may determine from time-to-time

The main objects of The South Wales Transport Preservation Group Ltd are to educate the community on the significance of and important part played by transport and associated industries. Establishing links with schools and other educationalestablishments is part of this. It will also endeavour to engage with a wide range oforganisations to ensure the widest benefits from its aims and efforts.

The Charity manages the Helena Thompson Museum in Workington on behalf of Allerdale borough Council. Through the organising, by WHG Ltd, of Outreach, educational, social, historical and cultural activities, it brings the heritage of Workington and district to as wide an audience as possible

The activities of the charity comprise the promotion of the education (including social and physical training) of the people in developing countries in such ways as the Charity Trustees see fit, including the provision for the construction, repair and maintenance of buildings and related facilities necessary for their education.

The Gordon Bramah Charitable Settlement is a grants-based charity which predominantly donates to other charities. It is primarily, but not exclusively, interested in supporting charities or individuals based in the North Derbyshire and South Yorkshire area where the charity has its historical roots. Its priority is donating to capital projects rather than supporting ongoing expenditure.

To promote for the benefit of the public generally and especially for the inhabitants and users of the Exmoor National Park the protection of land and buildings of beauty or historic interest and as regards lands of ecological or other scientific importance with the National Park.
