Provision of the Journal for members and others; holding annual meetings for study of the United Reformed Church and the traditions from which it comes; provision of an enquiry service for the public, both at home and abroad; care of archives for the Church and provision of library services; the making of grants to members of the public intending to publish relevant research.

Maintain meeting rooms & attended public events, promote research into & the study of and interest in history, recreate in miniature great battles & events of history, allowing the public to watch & or participate with a view to maintaining & encouraging study of history, encourage & assist the study of the uniforms, arms, armaments, organisation & tactics of the past & any other aspect of history

The Society promotes the study and creation of British bookplates (ex-libris) through its journal, newsletter, books, occasional exhibitions and its website including listing artists willing to accept commissions. It also supports interest in the fields of graphic and book art, bibliography, heraldry and family history, and provides information about, and helps identify, British bookplates.

NBVH provides a social focus for the community.It provides facilities for local groups e.g book club, art, history group, sewing group, parish council, parochial council meetings. It provides a venue for social events for the community quiz nights, table tennis, cinema evenings and is also available at extremely reasonably rates for private hire e.g. children's parties, large family occasions.

Supply of a village hall for the use and benefit of Pontargothi, Llanegwad and the surrounding area

THE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CHURCH OF ST LAURENCE, BRAFIELD ON THE GREEN IN THE COUNTY OF NORTHAMPTON AND DIOCESE OF PETERBOROUGH TOGETHER WITH ITS CHURCHYARD

The charity makes awards to architectural developments of merit, holds talks, lectures, meetings and summer a school, makes grants towards the presevation of historic buildings and monuments, and makes representations to public and other authorities.

This is a grant giving charity funded by historical endowment, which intends to distribute its net income year by year.

Restoration and maintenance of an Ancient Monument and landscape garden situated at Downton near Salisbury in Wiltshire as a leisure facility open to the public

The provision and maintenance of Riccall Village Hall so that it may provide a venue for the residents of Riccall and the surrounding. The focus of activities remains on the hire of rooms to local groups and residents, with any income raised to meet the costs of repairs and maintenance of the Hall, for the building and facilities longevity.

Gathering and sharing information on the local history of Brecknockshire Assisting Brecknockshire Museum and publishing an erudite journal annually

To promote and foster the study of all branches of natural history and add to existing knowledge, both generally and regarding Wharfedale in particular. To promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.

Maintenance of a memorial garden and making of charitable donations

Provision of Village Hall facilities for residents of Neasham and neighbouring parishes. Hosts annual Christmas Dance, regular activites such as Whist Clubs, dance clubs and private hire for children's parties, family celebrations etc. Used as Polling Stattion and for meeting of WI and Parish Council. Regular usage by keep fit group, history nights and coffee mornings

Education of the public in the historic landscapes and gardens in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Assisting owners of such landscapes with advice on maintenance and restoration. Research and publications in historic landscape.

Provision & maintenance of 5 Grade 1 listed almshouse cottages. Applicants for residence must be from the Corby Northants rural area. No care services are provided.

Our Museum offers an insight into the history of Perranzabuloe Parish via permanent and changing exhibitions. We operate a Friends scheme and fundraise via a number of social events throughout the year with the help of our Management Committee and other volunteers.

Persuant to the scheme of the Charity Commission dated 31st August 1971, half of the net income passes to the PCC of St Marys, Fairford to be applied by them towards the maintenance and repair of the Parish Church, and the other half is to be applied by the trustees to relieve need, either generally, or individually of persons resident in Fairford who are in need, hardship or distress.

To encourage, promote and educate the public in the fine arts through its support of the Fitzwilliam Museum.

Providing an on-line archive to record for educational purposes the history of the Riley family and its importance in the motor design, manufacturing and motor sport development in the United Kingdom. To provide a physical museum to display Riley related items for the interest and education of the public at large.

The objects of the Society are the preservation, repair and maintenance of the fabric and curtilage of the Parish Church of S. Nicholas and the Village Hall in the Parish of Silton, Dorset, its organ and bells, and providing such furnishings furniture fittings and structures both interior, exterior and in the curtilage as may be considered appropriate by the Committee of the Society

The letting and management of 2 dwellings at rents that do not cause hardship. The tenants must have been resident in the parishes of Freshwater or Totland before taking the tenancy and preference is to be given to those persons who have served in the Armed Forces of Her Majesty the Queen
