Maintains the Robert Hall Centre (Grade II Listed Building) for use by Scouts, Guides and other community groups.

Seeks to enhance and preserve the history and surroundings of the township of Rainhill. Monitors planning applications. Also organises an annual gardening competition, and holds a programme of meetings throughout the winter season, open to all. New activities include an oral history project with sound recordings made by local people .Community-wide commemoration of local involvement in WW1

Restoration and support of the church and its religious activities in Thaxted

Support for the conservation, preservation and maintenance of buildings and other relevant structures in Ludlow.

The Charity is responsible for four small almshouses in the centre of Toddington. the residents are widows or spinsters of the Parish. The Trustees are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Almshouses. the Trustees expect to be able to pay for routine repairs and maintenance out of the income.

We play music of the 17th and 18th century using original instruments and historically informed performance practices. We often play unperformed music or unusual repertoire. We give concerts for public entertainment and education. We normally give one concert a year for charitable fundraising. We give platform for students and those who wish to learn the techniques.

The Trust supports organisations in the fields of Industrial Archaeology, Mental Health and the environment

Management of our Heritage Centre Museum located in the Town Centre and Custodians of the artifacts, documents, photographs and displays. The Society holds monthly meetings with guest speakers and occasional guided walks in the locality and other related activities.

Provides a programme of lectures and other educational activities, open to all. The Museum is an important, independent, educational facility for the region.

The Islington Mental Health Forum liaises Royal Commissioners, views, needs of mental health , Health events, food recycle, prepare docs for court, travel to court,witness, copy and prep docs for cases. Help to those older, over 57, walks, history and museum trips. Design of art, walks asked for by elderly. Help homeless, children anti-abuse campaigns, use social media as FB, watch PO perversion

Provides help for elderly and young people in need in the old historical ancient parish of Witley which includes the modern parishes of Milford and Witley.

We make available through our heritage museum artefacts the history of Ventnor and the Undercliff. The public can view our exhibitions, carry out research etc. Our archives now total over 10000 individual items. We also give lectures, film shows etc. Our aim is to inform, educate and promote an interest in local history.

We conduct research into local history and publish the results in books which we sell.We have a Museum, which opens at the weekend from April until the end of November and is run entirely by volunteers.Children from local schools and other groups visit to learn about local history.Talks to which the public are invited are held monthly.Fund raising coffee mornings are held monthly.

Advancing the education of people of Castle Cary & surrounding areas by maintaining the museum for objects connected with the past life of Castle Cary & district and to preserve the antiquities, artefacts and amenities of the town, especially the conservation areas of Castle Cary and Ansford for the benefit of Castle Cary & district, and our visitors (area prescribed by governing document).
