EDUCATION AND PROMOTION OF THE STUDY OF THE HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE HISTORIC COUNTY OF YORK

A well equipped community hall with entertainment and alchol license. Regular groups include skittles, short mat bowls ,history group, pantomime group, WI, and meeting place for Parish Council and other committees.Regular use also by local primary school.A venue also for family celebrations eg weddings and parties.Exhibitions and workshops are regularly held.

We aim to Educate people about mining at Nenthead and in the North Pennines by researching, restoring, maintaining, owning and exploring the historic and natural features relating to mining,quarrying and smelting. We guide people into an old lead and zinc mine, carry out maintenance of the ancient monument, hold an archive of documents and have a collection of mining artefacts.

To restore, build, maintain, beautify and repair the council's buildings & secondly to help the poor & needy.

The charity assists in running classes in: Punjabi/Gurmukhi; Reading of Sikh scriptures; Sikh history and Kirtan. The charity funds the holding of religious services and prayer meetings, production of Sikh literature and holding workshops and courses to teach people about the Sikh way of life. The charity supports the production of pieces of Sikh art, digital productions, audio and videos.

The presevation and adornment of Beverley Minster and the general mtce of the Minster, its activities and services, its ornaments and furnishings;To make gifts to the Minster which may be acceptable to the PCCTo promote public interest in the Minster its history and its work

Umoja Street Child Trust exists to support, fund and facilitate the work of the Umoja Boys Rescue Centre (UBRC) in Kwale, Kenya. The UBRC in turn exists to rescue, rehabilitate and restore street-living boys in Kenya. As part of these processes we also care for them at every stage, and enable the boys to either access education (by sending them to school) or we provide education on site.

The advancement of education in Bushey and district by the provision of a community museum and art gallery and local studies centre with material of archaeological, historical, artistic and social interest.

The Pen Museum tells the story of the Steel Pen trade in Birmingham during the 19th and 20th Centuries and the impact it had on its workers, the people of Birmingham and globally.

THE PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION OF LOCOMOTIVES BELONGING TO THE DESIGN OF R W URIE.

The object of the CIO is to advance education of the public in the history, archaeology, geography, the environment and related aspects of the North Tyne and Redesdale Valleys by in particular but not exclusively:a. the management of a heritage centre in Bellinghamb. the provision for education, study and other suitable facilitiesc. supporting and co-ordinating research and displays

Preserving the railway heritage of North East England, particularly industrial and independent railways and local locomotive builders.

The charity provides a focal point for the community of Morvah and surrounding district. It provides educational and leisure workshops for all ages. We provide concerts, poetry, talks and films. We have strong links to the art and crafts and provide a showcase in the gallery and coffee shop to emerging artists. The schoolhouse is the polling station for Morvah at election times.

The Charity maintains and lets the property known as Bow Village Hall, it is used on a regular basis by various organisations including Pre-School Playgroup, Parochial Church Council, Scouts, Short Mat Bowling, Local History Society, Bow Water Works Committee, Parish Council and various health & fitness classes.The building is also let to individuals for private functions & fund raising events.

The Restoration of the Helston Railway Branch Line

The object of the trust is to apply the income of the Charity in the maintenance and upkeep of its property and apply any excess as seen fit for the general benefit of the inhabitants of Bishop's Stortford.

The foundation applies income and capital in provision of grants to charitable organisations for the purposes of education, and housing and training for those with learning difficulties, the advancement of knowledge of the history and techniques of interior decoration, fabric design, other decorative materials and landscape gardening, including with reference to the work of Oliver Ford.

We are a youth club running youth services in South East London

The maintenance and upkeep of the Torrington Commons. Prevention of encroachment and protection of the Torrington Commons.

The principal activity of the Trust is the letting of the Hall rooms to the Residents of Trevone & Windmill. These lettings are made at reduced rate. Additionally, some lettings to Commercial Enterprises are made when the Hall is not otherwise occupied.The Hall is used as a village meeting place for Coffee Mornings and for fund raising events for the Trust and other charitable organisations.
