Heritage Charities

To support the Parochial Church Council of St Nicholas Church, Brighton in the advancement of the Christian religion and in particular the preservation, repair, restoration and improvement of the Church, its fabric, embellishments and churchyard.

To promote and advance the education of the public in natural history and the conservation of Flora and Fauna on Deeside and the surrounding areas.

To maintain and preserve the Dutch Cottage as a building of local historical interest and importance to the town of Rayleigh in Essex.

Environmental, conservation and heritage concerns of Amersham Old Town and its historic environs to promote:- the town's prosperity and vigour by guarding its character and amenities by monitoring planning and the environment;- community spirit by organising lectures, visits, newsletters and a website;- interest in and the study of local history, including through support of Amersham Museum.

We collect money from mainly within our membership, by circulation of a regular charity box, raffles and charity evenings. This money is used to support local charities and needy causes. Some of this money is also given to our Grand Charity for donation around the world to disaster areas for instance (Tsunami being one). We also support the needy widows of our past members and those in distress

Provision of a playing field for the benefit of the inhabitants of Stepney.Administration of a permanent endowment fund, the income from which provides for the upkeep and maintenance of specified playing fields in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets

Weekly meetings with either visitors or Society members giving talks on their photographic interests. There are a series of practical nights held and an Annual Exhibition of member's work is held in the local Art Gallery. Members also visit other external organisations and give talks on their particular interest in photography. Members images are on display at the local hospice

The administration and management of almshouses and assets belonging to the charity, including maintenance and repair; and the application of income of the charity for the benefit of its alms people.

Lectures on a range of subjects and visits to places of interest. The Society produces the 'Richmond Review' annually which features committee reports, list of members and articles of historical and local interest. The Society is concerned with all matters both historical and current within the the town and district of Richmond, North Yorkshire.

The objectives of the Society are to advance public education and knowledge concerning the Republic of Yemen, its history, geography, economy & culture.

We provide education and training in the techniques of family history research. We encourage the conservation of documents and structures, which record details of social and family history. We sponsor and provide volunteers to undertake research into such documents and thereby act as an umbrella or resource body.

To further the preservation and adornment of St. Aldhelm's Church, its general maintenance, activities, services, ornaments and furnishings and to promote public interest in the church, its history and its work and to join together all those who love the church.

Proposals are to continue to thin the oak and coppice the hornbeam at Hook Wood, to preserve its historical interest.

The society encourages high standards of architecture and Town Planning in Colchester.It stimulates public interest in and care for the beauty, history and character of the area of the Town.It encourages the preservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity and of historic interest.It pursues these ends by means of , exhibitions, lectures and publications.
