WE RESTART produces public art and cultural projects to create awareness on diversity, inclusion and climate change. We organise workshops bringing disadvantaged young people closer to theatres and museums. We support refugee artists from war zone areas or affected by natural disasters by providing for their needs.

We have 43 interest groups including art languages history music poetry and science. Physical activities include badminton, walking dancing and tai chi. The organisation is run entirely by U3A members and the committee of trustees meets monthly. We have a monthly general meetings with a speaker and monthly coffee drop ins. We also organise social events for members.

The Charity advances education for the benefit of the public in the history, construction, engineering and operation of the Scunthorpe Railway site by acquiring, restoring, preserving and operating heritage railway locomotives, rolling stock, equipment, artefacts and other associated heritage infrastructure and has established and maintains a museum.

Providing a sanctuary for the maintenance, preservation and breeding of wild birds, animals, plants, insects or other wild life. Managing and restoring the parks natural and architectural features to facilitate conservation projects, educational activities and recreation.

The Association for Central Asian Civilizations and Silk Road Studies (ACANSRS) is a private non-profit organization of scholars and others interested in the study of Central Asian civilizations and the Silk Road. The association aims to promote research on Central Asia from antiquity to modern times through sponsoring events, publications, film-making, and educational trips to the region.

Museum comprising an extensive collection of ceramics, copper plates, tools, pattern books, paper records and other items recording the history of the manufacture of Spode china from its origin in 1770 all which archive is held upon trust to preserve it as a collection and to advance the education of the public by its exhibition; and a visitor centre on the former factory site at Stoke.

Collection and display of local memorabilia for the benefit of the local population

Fertile Ground Dance Limited aims to advance the arts for the public benefit by the promotion in particular, but not exclusively, of the art of dance. FG offers performances and workshops across the North-East region and beyond, showcasing great talent performing in theatres, galleries and outdoor spaces.

A village hall providing facilities for the people of Hunsdon and its surroundings. The hall is well used by local groups, Scouts, Local History Society, Parish Council, Carpet Bowls, Badminton, Youth Club, Over Three Score Club, etc. and is available for hire for private functions.

The charity maintains a library of approximately 40,000 volumes to support research into the history of business enterprise. It has purchased a leasehold business unit at the Grove Technology Park, Wantage, and this is being fitted out as a research library and study centre. Once the books have all been moved into the library the facility will be opened to the public.

Trustees support education costs for hugely disadvantaged children from the 'slums' of Bangalore, India, the costs of University education for a gifted Ghanaian also a UK volunteer working amongst rural Gipsies in Romania who are rejected by many. Trustees also address other needs, both overseas and in the UK, as and when they present themselves.

The Charity supports the live performance of Classical Music within the Bridgnorth Rural District Area. In particular it financially supports the annual English Haydn Festival, a nine day Classical Music Festival focused around the works of Haydn and those Composers of the late 18th Century. The Trust promotes the performances of Classical Music to the local Youth, through a Schools Concert.

The maintenance and repair of the fabric of the Parish Church of Ashford as well as utilising the income to benefit the poor of Ashford

Open 6 days a week all year bar 3 public hols.

Conservation of wildlife habitats, birds, woodland etc. Preservation of historic buildings.

TO RESTORE MAINTAIN AND PRESERVE THE HOLGATE WINDMILL FOR THE PURPOSE OF SATISFYING THE CULTURAL HISTORIC AND EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND PEOPLE OF YORK AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.

The provision and maintenance of The Corner House, which was left in trust for the use of the local people, and the War Memorial Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Charlbury and the surrounding area without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC RELIGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE MUSLIMS BY EDUCATING THEM THE PRINCIPLES AND HISTORY OF ISLAM AND THE TEACHING OF THE ARABIC AND URDU LANGUAGES AND CUSTOMS AND THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES [PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS] PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON ISLAMIC TEACHINGS TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE ISLAMIC RELIGION.
