Run & subsidise educational courses for the general public.

Promote and provide information on Bridlington's maritime heritage by maintaining and sailing a original 1912 sailing coble and running an associated heritage museum

For the benefit of the public, the preservation, restoration, maintenance, repair and improvement of Bishop's Castle Town Hall, being a grade II* Listed building, situated in Bishop's Castle, Shropshire

The role of the Bournemouth Leukaemia Fund is to support local research into the cause, diagnosis, natural history and treatment of patients with chronic lymphoproliferative disorders, especially chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. This is achieved by funding salaries, reagent costs and attendance at meetings to present research data.

The River Lark Catchment Partnership pursues activities that improve the environmental health, ecological bio-diversity and amenity value of the Lark River for the benefit of the public and stakeholders. These include:-- volunteer lead river restoration and naturalisation projects- projects to re-establish the connectivity of the river for fish and eel passage.

The Cibus Foundation promotes ecosystem restoration and sustainable development by funding scientific research, education, health and nature-based solutions across all aspects of our food system. It awards grants to organisations working on biodiversity, soil and water, health, regenerative agriculture, better food and public access to nature.

Helping people experiencing loneliness and social exclusion by providing volunteering and employment opportunities through the preservation of historic wooden canal boats, boat recycling trips and a charity shop. Offering wellbeing breaks for disadvantaged people and those with depression or mental illness. Preserving traditional boat building skills and the heritage surrounding these boats.

Safe Guard the Museum collections, training, research and education

Teign Heritage is a local museum, run entirely by volunteers. Our education team offers themed visits and loan boxes to local schools and heritage-based activities for very young children. Our fully equipped room is available for hire to community groups. Other facilities include toilets, a lift and roof terrace. Our team of archivists respond to enquiries and produce new temporary exhibitions.

To conserve, protect and rehabilitate the habitat and waters that constitute the River Thames catchment, for the benefit of all indigenous species (including Atlantic salmon and migratory trout).To advance the education of the public in the understanding of river environments on watercourses throughout the River Thames catchment.

Our main objective is to renovate The Norwood Engine originally given to our group on long-term loan and then purchased by us. We are looking for sponsorship and grants to overhaul this engine. We have links with several heritage railways, with a special relationship with the National Railway Museum, ShildonWe also renovate other heritage vehicles.

We operate Whitstable Museum & Gallery. Our unique Whitstable focused collections, connect people to the past and the present engendering a sense of place, identity, pride and belonging. We encourage the exploration of other heritage sites in the area to inspire continued research and learning. As well as exhibitions, our programme includes both historical and contemporary visual art and craft.

The Poltimore House Trust is dedicated to restoring Poltimore House, a unique Grade II* listed country house, to create a heritage asset for the community through education, arts, commercial and community activities.
