Hiring of Halls for the benefit of the community, for sport, education, and entertainment

The objects of the Centre are to foster and promote the maintenance,improvement and development of artistic taste and the knowledge understanding and appreciation of the arts among the inhabitants of Bollington and to provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for such persons in the interest of social welfare and for improving conditions of life for the Town inhabitants.

To provide Canal and Canal-side recreational facilities for people with disabilities, illness or injury or any other vulnerability and their families, friends and carers who may accompany them.

The charity exists to provide and maintain Lawton Memorial Hall, a community facility open to all for social, educational and recreational purposes. The Trust gives particular consideration to meeting social need - e.g. for the elderly- within its area of benefit which is largely within SE Cheshire and N. Staffs. The Trust is mainly self-funding.

The foundation applies income and capital in provision of grants to charitable organisations for the purposes of education, and housing and training for those with learning difficulties, the advancement of knowledge of the history and techniques of interior decoration, fabric design, other decorative materials and landscape gardening, including with reference to the work of Oliver Ford.

Provides a community centre for recreation, education, sports, social and spiritual activities for use by groups and the local population.

Leases & manages King Edward Community Centre, Chatteris. Provides accommodation for more than 30 voluntary community groups for educational, social, & recreational activities. Arranges educational, social and recreational activities for residents of Chatteris and surrounding area. Produces & distributes 4,500 copies of 12 page community newsletter.

CARE, MAINTENANCE OF THE LOCAL VILLAGE HALL TO SERVICE THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

We provide facilities and activities for education, training, sports and other leisure activities with the object of improving the condition of life for the community. Activities are available in the day and evening and include activities for young people and adults including youth clubs, sporting clubs, education classes, health promotion and rehabilitation and exercise classes.

Provision of 3 Halls, stage, committee room, kitchen and toilets for the advantage of the people of Mere, in Wiltshire, and to promote spiritual, intellectual and social activities, i.e. Plays, films, sporting, medical and social activities, lectures and public meetings. Annual grants are also offered to organisations and local charities within 8 mile radius of Mere.

The Club helps educate young people through their leisure time activities to develop their physical,mental and spiritual capacities adding to their personal development and improving their quality of life It achieves its objectives through physical training with a focus on boxing as exercise and for competition. Membership of London Youth offers a wider selection of youth activities.

ALL ACTIVITIES ARE RELATED TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE ROLE OF PLAY AND RECREATION.

Working with and training young people between ages of 9 years and 18 years in areas such as canoeing, power boating, pulling, cooking, communications, shooting, drill and giving them the opportunity to go to sea in both powered vessels and sailing ships.

Nursery, ballet, archery, scouts, martial arts, fund-raising, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and to provide the residents of Old Basing and surrounding districts with a first class facility at affordable prices.

The objectives of the charity are to promote and improve the arts and stimulate public appreciation in such arts. The Trustees have sought to fulfill this objective through the promotion of high quality drama and entertainment centring on productions at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre itself. Such productions have gone on to tour nationally or run in the West End.

The Charity maintains a hostel for the residential accommodation, recreation and instruction of young people of the town of Maidstone employed within the said town or the neighbourhood thereof, and those attending a course of instruction at a recognised place of education in Maidstone.

We are a Community Centre operating in the Warbreck Ward area of North Liverpool, social, education and leisure opportunities for the community. The activities we offer are; senior citizens activities, health/well being events, learning circles, adult education classes, social activities and community resource for local residents groups

PROVISION OF A PUBLIC PARISH HALL, YOUTH CLUB, PLAY AREA, RECREATION GROUND & CHANGING ROOMS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF BRAMLEY, ROTHERHAM, SOUTH YORKSHIRE, S66.

Medical rehabilitation of flying personnel of the Royal Air Force and of other armed forces of the Crown

The combined purpose is to offer a place for all individuals to get together socially with other people/groups who have the same interest in activities, hobbies, sports etc. Activities are available for all ages. New groups always welcome.

Promotes the benefits of the inhabitants of The Parish of Hagley to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

Working with a range of Community Centres and Organisations to provide a range of sporting and cultural activities for young people to participate in.

Tickton Village Hall is the primary community building in the Parish of Tickton and Routh, providing a facility for local groups and organisations. Activities include a pre school, indoor bowls, social events, youth club, ladies choir, arts & crafts and the hall hosts various meetings for local government, Parish Council and others.
