Age Concern Birmingham is the foremost voluntary agency supporting older people, their families and carers. The services provided include, but are not exclusive to, day centres, luncheon clubs, carers support services, befriending schemes, specialist support services (grants and advice service, and debt counselling), information, tradesperson and handyman directory and volunteer schemes.

To provide convalescent, nursing and respite care for the sick and aged in the Sheffield area, through the provision of fully-serviced nursing accommodation for residential patients, and through one self-contained residential flat providing sheltered accommodation for the elderly, being fully registered with all required regulatory bodies.

Bayis Sheli provides and maintains a residential home which meets the need for respite and long term care for children with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties.Bayis Sheli also provides recreational and therapeutic facilities and activities for children with disabilities residing at the home or from the wider public.

Harpenden Mencap was first formed in 1959 as a parental support group. The organisation has expanded over the years and now provides services for adults with learning disabilities including residential care, supported living, domiciliary care, employment support and social activities.

WE PROVIDE LIFELONG LEARNING AND SUPPORT FOR MORE THAN 100 PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES, AUTISM, PHYSICAL DISABILITIES AND MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES.IN OUR SKILLS TRAINING CENTRE WE PROVIDE ACCREDITED LEARNING AND INFORMAL LEARNING ACTIVITIES DAY CARE SUPPORT. IN OUR RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES, BRACKENLEY AND BRIARDENE, WE SUPPORT 26 PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES.

We provide information, advice and support for carers all across Surrey. Including benefits advice, advocacy, guidance on moving and handling, support groups, free resources and more. We also help carers have their say on carer matters in Surrey, and nationally. We have specialist support available for young carers, young adult carers (18-24), and people connected to the Armed Forces

The principal activity is the running of a convalescent home and nursing home. There is also provision of pastoral and spiritual support.

Bethshan is situated in the heart of Mid-Wales. We run a purpose-built 40-bed nursing home catering for frail elderly people and those with dementia as well as people under 65 requiring full-time nursing care . Our first priority is to serve the needs of those from our local area.

Providing foster care for children who cannot live with their birth families. This entails supporting, supervising, managing and training foster carers to care for children effectively and providing a strong support team who can ensure that children's life chances and choices are enhanced.

GLASALLT FAWR CAMPHILL CENTRE IS A RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME SET IN A 90 ACRE FARM, PROVIDING 24 HOUR CARE FOR ADULTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES.

The charity supports visually impaired people who live within Barrow-in-Furness and the surrounding area. The organisation provides information and advice to visually impaired people and to their families and carers, provides visually impaired people with a range of welfare support and social activities, promotes awareness of sight loss issues and supports people within a residential home.

Autism related family respite services, Youth groups, Summer activity schemes, Helpline, life/social/work skills training, parent training, library.

Operating a care home for the frail elderly

BVF and its wholly owned subsidiary Balloon Ventures ltd are dedicated to the relief of poverty and hardship in developing countries initially focusing on Kenya and Uganda. We provide support, training and loan finance to small businesses to help them grow and create good jobs. In Kenya we also support an orphanage in Busia.

Alzheimer's Support exists to improve quality of life for people with all types of dementia and family carers. Services include: Dementia Advisers, Home Support, Day Clubs, carers groups, Alzheimer Cafes, Music for the Mind, Movement for the Mind, art groups, a range of outdoor activities, training courses for carers and local information and support offices.

Future Horizons Ltd is a charity providing high quality day care for adults 19 years plus with complex special needs. The charity operates out of premises located in West Leeds and focuses on person centred education and social care leading to developing personal skills and independence.

Provision of leisure/social activities for children/adults with learning disabilities living within Solihull or the surrounding areas. Provision of respite to the parents/carers of children and adults with learning disabilites receiving our leisure services. Support to other local organisations providing services to children/adults with LD. Provision of volunteering opportunities.

Promoting the welfare of people with a life limiting or terminal illness and to provide respite for their carers.

The Charity is dedicated to improving the quality of life of severely disadvantaged children (5 - 12 Yrs) by offering them respite breaks at the Honeypot House in the New Forest and our new house in County Powys, Wales , plus a wider programme of long term support. This includes regular visits by the Honeypot Outreach team.
