TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY MEDICAL AND DOMESTIC CARE FOR PEOPLE IN THEIR OWN HOMES

The relief of those in need and for the promotion of eductaion.

Our objectives are to promote the welfare of all ages and less able of Calderdale. We do that by providing a day centre for the purpose of recreation and other leisure time activities in the interest of social welfare and with the object of improving their physical and mental wellbeing.

The Almshouse Trust provides accommodation for elderly people on limited income and provides well-being support and benefit in such a manner as the Trustees think fit from time to time.

The Rev. Brian Attwell and his wife, Betty Attwell, are responsible for running the St. Andrews Childrens Home (Hogar San Andres) at Chosica, near Lima city, in Peru, South America. Over 30 abandoned, orphaned, and disabled children are being cared for in this home. Both short and long-term residential accommodation is provided for children, also medical care, food, clothing and education.

The care and support of children and adults with a learning disability - and support for their parents and other carers :- seven o'clock social club for adults age 15 and over, Summer holiday programme for about 90 children and adults - also giving a week's respite to carers.

WE MANAGE A DAY CENTRE - LIPHOOK DAY CENTRE 3 DAYS A WEEK FOR 50 WEEKS A YEAR. THIS PROVIDES UP TO 18 ELDERLY RESIDENTS DAILY A GOOD LUNCH, COOKED ON THE PREMISES, OTHER REFRESHMENTS, GAMES AND ENTERTAINMENT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, CONTACT WITH OTHER PEOPLE.

Sunday 11am morning service. 6.00 evening service. Tue 7.00pm prayer meeting Bible Study. Wed 12pm-2pm restaurant serving up to 60 people, whole person support ie visiting, counseling, free meals where needed. Thurs 2.15 Women's meeting once a month, visit residential homes. Fri two coffee mornings month. Church building is restored. Support Mission. Once a month Men's Breakfast. Food Bank,coffee

Sunday worship services/Prayer and Bible study meeting/Children and youth clubs/annual children's Holiday Club/parents and toddler meeting/older people's meeting/financial support of missionary work/monthly services in a local care home/special meetings for the community. These activities are all without charge to the community. Full time Pastor and part time Chidrens Worker employed.

Day centre open from 10.00am until 2.00pm four days a week. Provision of freshly cooked meal and stimulating activities, for example speakers on a wide variety of subjects, or an entertainer. We also run occasional day trips for our users.

The main activity of the trust is to provide accommodation for the elderly who have insufficient funds to purchase. At Christmas time they distribute funds to local needy persons, plus a limited number of charities, mostly local.

We were constituted in June 1981 with the principal object of providing services and facilities for the well being of the elderly in our catchment area; comprising Lunch Club (three days), keep fit, genealogy, ceramic painting, befriending service for the vulnerable elderly living in the Cowplain ward and its surrounds.

Residential and Nursing Care Daycare to the community

A weekly social club, providing a warm, caring atmosphere for the elderly, and those with early dementia; where they are stimulated by games, exercise and entertainment.It also gives respite to their carers two days a week.

Daycare centre providing a range of educational, therapeutic & social activities to adults recovering from mental ill health. The aim is to stimulate, motivate and offer opportunities for people to learn, become more independent & integrated into community facilities & activities.

The objects of the Henley-On-Thames Day Centre are to provide the welfare of the aged in any manner. To manage a day centre and the members be known as Henley 60 Plus Social Club.

Supporting the work of Rehoboth Children's Home in the Philippines.

The charity runs and maintains the community centre known as 'Heathlands'. The centre holds events which include pre school events, youth club, adult sports, local clubs and a day centre for the elderly. It is available resource for the local community. Outside the centre is a large grassed field used for outside events. Local and visiting football teams use an ajoining second field regularly.

Raise funds for the benefit of Crowborough Hospital, its patients and staff; maintain a hospital shop, operate a Social Day Service at the Hospital Day Centre, and provide transport through 2 wheelchair accessible vehicles utilising volunteer drivers.

The charity seeks to help those in need of convalescence, for whatever reason, who cannot afford the total cost of such convalescence. 1) Persons recovering from sickness, medical or surgical treatment. 2) Such persons who are in a weak state of health and require a change of air, or require respite care.

To the provision of social care on a daycare basis for the independent older person.

The Charity's objects are to promote the benefit of elderley and handicapp people by relieving need, age hardship, sickness and mental or physical handicapp through the provision of a daycare community centre

To give Carers weekly respite time thus safeguarding their health and enabling them to continue to care at home. To operate a service that befriends socially isolated people living alone in the local community.
