The Associations principle acitivities are the residential home (care home) carried out at Healey House, full day provision at the John Taplin Centre, social and rehabilitation acitivites in Bexhill, Mountfield and at clubs run by the association, together with the provision of advice, information and support ro visually impaired people of all ages living in Hastings and Rother areas.

We provide a range of services to older people and influencing activities including: Advice & Information - both office based and outreach, Healthy Lifestyle activities including exercise and IT, Footcare service, Day Care, Befriending & Phonelink service. We also raise funds through our charity shop.

Dementia Matters provides support services to people with dementia and other degenerative neurological disorders and their carers. The charity provides a home care and support service in the community, independent supported living houses, day centres, residential respite care, training, advice and information and advocacy.

The CAP is a day centre for homeless and vulnerable adults based in Sheffield City Centre. Services provided are(showers, free telephone, free breakfasts, subsidised lunches, access to health care professionals, education, football, sewing, literacy & numeracy, internet access,advice & guidance session, signposting and working alongside other agencies) Also offered are a variety of activities.

A WIDE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES, THERPIES, INTERESTS FOR OLDER PEOPLE. INFORMATION AND ADVICE SERVICE, INSURANCE, CONTRACTOR CALL, WELFARE RIGHTS, DAY CARE, ASSISTED BATHING AND CATERING ALL AT THE WILLIAM AND PATRICIA VENTON CENTRE. IN THE COMMUNITY WE PROVIDE HOME FROM HOSPITAL, BEFREINDING, A REMINISCENCE SERVICE AND TRANSPORT. WE HAVE THREE FUND-RAISING CHARITY SHOPS LOCATED IN EASTBOURNE.

Freedom Community Alliance Ltd provides a range of services to homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals. Current activities include:-Provision of an open access Day Centre & multi agency hubA range of supported accommodation for men and women.Support Services and advocacy for vulnerable people. Residential Care Home for Ladies

We provide short term emergency accommodation for homeless adults and some further longer term supported housing. We also provide a day centre with access to various services including food provision.

The organisation aims to improve the quality of life for carers in North Tyneside by supporting them through a high quality service, shaped by carers' needs and is accessible to all carers. Activities include: information & advocacy, emotional support, support groups, training for carers, counselling, carer assessments, the provision of a breaks and activities service and family support.

To support the moral component of HM Armed Forces, particularly through the operation of amenity centres in or near military bases in the UK and overseas. To support veteran Armed Forces personnel and their dependants, usually through sheltered housing. To support the CofE in the delivery of its spiritual and charitable objectives across Defence.

THE OBJECTS OF ST BARNABAS, SET OUT IN THE CONSTITUTION ARE "TO PROVIDE RESIDENTIAL CARE, SHELTERED ACCOMMODATION AND/OR OTHER CARE AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WHO ARE ELDERLY AND/OR OF LIMITED MEANS AND IN NEED OF SUCH CARE AND ASSISTANCE AS THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE CONSIDER APPROPRIATE HAVING REGARD TO THE RESOURCES OF ST BARNABAS."

To support seafarers in need with provision of sheltered housing, support, holidays and financial aid.

The activity of the charity is the relief of pain and suffering sustained by children diagnosed with any form of cancer, and in such manner as may be considered reasonable by the trustees.The charity owns and operates two respite holiday homes for such children and their families. The charity also provides financial grants and emotional support.

Three Roses Home is registered to provide residential care for 14 adults with learning difficulties. The Residents are supported by trained Staff to live a varied and healthy lifestyle .Individuals are encouraged and supported to maintain and develop interests,skills and relationships which enhance their lives.

The charity offers holidays, activity days and respite facilities for disadvantaged children, who may have life limiting conditions, chronic sickness, disabilities or come from extremely impoverished backgrounds.
