To provide Day Centre facilities for the Elderly and Respite Care Service. Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays and Fridays are generally allocated to "home bound" elderly who are transported to the Club by either Council's transportation or Community buses/taxis.On Tuesdays the club is allocated to Respite Care and those club mobile members who wish to attend.

Support for mentally ill people and their carers through the provision of a drop in centre, crisis support, advice and information, befriending, and a holiday/respite caravan.

Social and respite evening club for adults with learning difficulties.

We over a lunch ( 2 courses) service three days a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10.30am - 2pm traditional meals all home cooked. Anyone over the age of 55 can attend members and non members are all welcomed. We also offer companionship where friendships are formed, warm space and general advice. We also run a Snooker club Weds, Sat mornings, and Bingo every Friday 2.15pm-4.15pm.

For the relief of the aged and physically challenged persons by the provision of facilities for recreation or leisure time occupation for such persons resident in royston and surrounding areas.

To benefit the inhabitants of the Ancient Parish of Holme Cultram as the Trustees think fit. The organisations vary but include, village halls, churches, schools and Residential Care Homes.

Drop in cafe for elderly, offering light refreshments, a place to meet friends and make new ones, as well as volunteer.

To apply such of the income as the Trustees determine for the benefit of The Retreat, York, (a non-profit making Registered Nursing Home) to make grants to meetings of the Religious Society of Friends and to enable travelling in the Ministry.

The Hall is a hub for the village. Clubs using the facilities include: Indoor Bowls, Badminton, Aerobics and Keep Fit. Regular users are a pre-school club, day centre for elderly, the W.I. dancing classes and dog training. It is also hired for private events. Fund raising events are held to ensure that the facility is maintained for the benefit of the community.

To cater for the social welfare of the elderly residents at Hamilton Court sheltered housing unit in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex.

Elizabeth Mills Centre is a safe, stable, friendly environment serving local community aged fifty-five or above, preventing social exclusion by old age &/or ill health, assisting integration into society through various activities. We provide varied, healthy, lunches (2 courses 6.00 GBP) 3 days/week, encourage social inclusion & awareness, moral, physical & mental continuance & equality

To provide out of school activities and encourage fundraising, for pupils with Special Educational Needs at The Dales School. These activities will be offered above and beyond what is delivered through the National Curriculum eg (respite holidays / Christmas outings - pantomime etc.)

The charity provides housing/accommodation for the elderly in the Wellington and Nynehead areas of Somerset.

PROVISION OF SHELTERED HOUSING TO THE ELDERLY

Providing a day centre for elderly people to meet, feel safe & socialize, in a warm & friendly environment, especially those who live alone or are in remote locations. Hot dinners, morning coffee & afternoon tea are provided at each meeting, with handicrafts, games & entertainment.

The proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all its fullness, by means of the printed page, campaigns, evangelical outreach, internet, DVD, and tape ministry. Church planting, orphanage and feeding programs.

We operate 2 day centres for our elderly Members across Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse. The centres provide friendship, support, activities and a nutritional meal. Activities include games, some entertainment, outings and seasonal parties. Normally our day centres open for one day per week, but the Mansfield Woodhouse day centre now operates on an additional day, for craft activities.

Provide facilities for local day centre for the people of Alford and the surrounding district.

We are an assembly of God church and as such our main occupation is worship, prayer, Bible study & propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also have a great concern for children in the third world and operate a charity shop called Annie's Orphans to support orphanages in Burma and Romania, a farm in Zimbabwe caring for Aids orphans & street children in Nairobi & a school in Gautemala

Running a Day Centre once a week at Blunden Court, Bramley Surrey.For the Villages of Shamley Green, Wonersh, Blackheath and Bramley, and other outlying villages . Where the elderly, lonely,and disabled are given coffee, lunch, exercise and paid entertainment in warm, pleasant and comfortable surroundings. Giving the members company and those that care for them respite. Transport is provided.

The donation of food, drinks & gifts to old peoples residential & care homes in B-ham & Leamington Spa. Free distribution of ayurvedic medicines by Dr Baba Ajit Singh Ji sending parcels of unwanted items of clothing to India for distribution amongst the poor & needy. The arrangement of marriages for the poor. The relief of povery-Free kitchen, financial & other forms of assistance for the needy.
