Provision and management of self-contained accommodation for elderly people

We currently offer the following services - residential care, and day care.

1 to 1 issue based advocacy; Self advocacy groups; Changing Lives Self Adv. group linked to Partnership Board; Vulnerable Parent Advocacy; Supporting Volunteers in Citizen Advocacy Partnerships, Peer advocacy & Groups in residential/supported living settings; Experts by Experience, assessing services in care homes; Aspirations, Choice & Empowerment Project; Self Advocacy Transition Project; IMCA

The charities current activities is the advancement of the Evangelical Christian Faith in the UK and all other parts of the world. This encompasses Prison ministry, pre-independence homes, orphanages, bible schools, medical care, camping and conference facilities, student sponsorship and education. Currently the main area of operation is in the Ukraine.

Sailors' Children's Society provides help to seafarers' children after a traumatic event such as bereavement/loss, diagnosis of terminal illness or breakdown of a marital relationship. Help includes clothing and children's welfare grants, respite breaks, emotional support and links to other specialist organisations for additional help. We aim to let children be children during difficult times.

Headway North Staffordshire provides rehabilitation & respite facilities for adults 18 plus with acquired, traumatic or stroke related head injuries. Headway House provides a meeting place with facilities for improving mobility social, domestic, educational and social skills. We provide support and daily respite for relatives.Activities include :Gym and Physiotherapy,Social Activities

a) day and short term residential care for disabled children in order to provide temporary relief and respite for their parents and carers andb) recreational facilities such as but not limited to, toy library for the purpose of improving the conditions of life of:i. disabled or handicapped childrenii. economically and socially deprived children under the age of eight years

A day centre for Homeless people in Salford. We provide shower and laundry facilities, advocacy, dental service, doctor's surgery and tv lounge. Clients can enjoy a hot meal from our cafe area and can relax or play pool in the TV lounge area. We also engage clients in activities e.g. arts and crafts, bingo, reading, street soccer and put on training courses for clients from time to time.

Giving donations and helping organisations such as Schools, Hospitals, Mosques, Orphanages.Providing aid and financial assistance to poor people for food, clothing, shelter and medical treatment.Providing water facilities in villages by drilling bore-holes.

Supporting unpaid Carers within the County Borough of Bridgend, we provide information, support, respite and a signposting service.

Provides support for community organisations, schools, offenders, the homeless and looked after children through employee volunteering.

Provides food,housing,general care and education to beneficiaries and establish vocational training centres,drop in centres and schools for beneficiaries in Thailand

The Frome Memorial Theatre facilities, run by volunteers, provide recreation and entertainment. A 540 seat Theatre houses arts and cultural performances. The Frome Assembly rooms are community facilities used for smaller performances and rehearsals, a day centre for the elderly, blood donor unit, council meetings and a facility for private functions. It is the home of the local War Memorial.

TO RELIEVE PEOPLE IN WHITTON AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT WITH LONG TERM ILLNESSES, DISABILITIES OR MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS BY PROVIDING FACILITIES TO MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF CARE BY GIVING RESPITE TO THEIR CARERS.

THE RELIEF OF CHILDREN IN ESSEX BY PROVIDING INFORMATION, SUPERVISED RECREATION, PRE SCHOOL SERVICES, RESPITE AND SUPPORT FOR SUCH CHILDREN AND FOR THE PARENTS AND CARERS OF SUCH CHILDREN, SO THAT THE CONDITIONS OF SUCH CHILDREN MAY BE IMPROVED

The charity provides residential, respite and activity opportunities for young people aged between 7 and 11. Young people from Leeds who are from backgrounds of challenge and disadvantage.

WE ARE A COMMUNITY ORGANISATION BASED AT CHADWELL HEATH, ROMFORD. WE PROVIDE MEETING ACCOMMODATION FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC AT REASONABLE RATES. WE RUN A SUBSIDIZE NURSERY/DAY CARE CENTRE AND AN AFTER SCHOOL CLUB WHICH PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTARY EDUCATION AND TRAINING ON SITE FOR THE PUBLIC. WE PROMOTE COMMUNITY INTEGRATION AND DEVELOPMENT BY PROVIDING TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY.

Age Concern Orpington is a charity to offer day care and support to the elderly and physically and mentally frail in the Orpington area.

Respite Breaks to Carers in their own homes. We employ care support workers to carry out these duties in the Ribble Valley and surrounding area

THE ORGANISATION PROVIDES SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO HAVE SEVERE LEARNING DISABILITIES BY PROVIDING A HOME BASED RESPITE CARE SERVICE, SATURDAY CLUB, HOLIDAY SCHEMES AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES. THE ORGANISATION HAS A CHARITY SHOP WHICH RAISES FUNDS FOR THE CHARITY.THE CHARITY HAS A HOLIDAY BUNGALOW FOR USE.

Parkside provides children & adults with learning disabilities, living in the NE Hants and W Surrey the opportunity to develop their individual skills and take part in activities in their local community. We offer Work Experience, Life Skill Training, and the opportunity to develop Social Skills as well as providing Respite to parents and carers.

Support to people of all ages with learning disability in & around Melton, through clubs, services and facilities for leisure-time occupation, and the development of skills for independent living. Personal support to people with learning disability in their homes and in the community, enabling respite for families and carers. A pre-school nursery inclusive of children with learning disability.

Alpha House Calderdale houses and supports those who have multiple problems, including mental health, offending and substance misuse issues, who need structure and support to maintain stable, law-abiding and drug free lives in the community. We help these residents, as well as others attending our daycare provision, to achieve their goals and aspirations and build meaningful, fulfilling lives.
