Our Training Centre provides opportunities for our learners to gain accredited qualifications around essential skills resiliency and emotional wellbeing.

Haswell & District Mencap operate from a purpose built building in the heart of the community. Our main target group are people with a learning disability, their carers and the wider community. Our services and activities include daycare, sport and social groups, carer support, advocacy, a catering and a furniture social enterprise. We are also a Gateway Beacon Club and have Gateway Active Status.

Lagan's Foundation provide specialist home and community respite care services to families of children aged 0-19 with complex health conditions. Specialising in cardiac conditions and feeding difficulties.

Provision of sheltered housing with the inclusion of meals for the frail elderly

Hugs from Henry provide support to families with childhood cancer, neuroblastoma and childhood cancer in Plymouth and Cornwall. This is done through group events, hospital visits and new to 2019 our first respite home.We have regular contact with families through emotional advice, visits and events.

The Pepper Foundation provides funding for children's hospice at home care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

AGEUKEG and District's area of benefit encompasses the town of East Grinstead and the surrounding villages.It operates four main services:Dementia Respite Services, Day/Activity Centre Services, Holidays and Tripsand a Cafe/Kitchen.

The charity works in partnership and provides a range of information and support services and a voice for carers living in Redcar & Cleveland, Middlesbrough and other areas as decided by the Trustees. Our services include individual support, welfare benefits advice, counselling, training, activities and events.

The support objective is to ensure that all patients attain and maintain the maximum level of physical, mental and social functioning compatible with their disease condition.

Supports the work of the Dohnavur Fellowship in India which runs a children's home and a rural hospital. It provides for retired missionaries who had given their lives to this work without salaries.

Raising funds for the Shalva Centre in Jerusalem, Israel. Shalva provides a respite home for children with severe mental and physical disabilities.

Day centre for Jewish elderly, blind and physically disabled people or any other catergory of individual who is deemed to be in need of such assistance.Serving the community with physical, social & emotional care.

To advance the education & awareness of the general public and medical professionals of the condition known as Pulmonary Hypertension. The relief of need of sufferers of PH, their families & carers through the provision of financial assistance towards, but not exclusively, respite care, travel grants & equipment grants at the discretion of the executive committee, as and when resources allow.

Facilitate programmes to assist a) with self employment via local EA, b) innovative Inspiring Women project via local EA, c) local Youth charity on Enfield Island, d) maintain/maximise EIV Interpretation Centre, e) Advice & support at Nightingale Hospice, f) capacity for local ECAB, g) projects for registered care home, h) capacity for youth at local Amateur Boxing Club.

Operation of Day Care services for the elderly

An independent Christian church, protestant, evangelical, charismatic, we meet on Sundays for worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship, and in smaller weekday groups; serving the local community through: mums and toddlers group, youth work, care homes outreach, CAP work (Christians Against Poverty), Street Pastors, and evangelism (including Alpha courses), and we support international mission.

Charity raises funds to pay for animals in their care until new homes can be found for them. All cats ,dogs and rabbits are neutered either prior to them being adopted or as soon as possible afterwards. All cats, dogs and rabbits are micro-chipped as well. We have our own cattery and we have many fosterers to care for young kittens in their own homes until they are old enough to be adopted.

We support, advise, represent, advocate & campaign for unpaid adult carers living or working in Gateshead. We aim for carers to have increased choice and control in their life, improved health and wellbeing, financial wellbeing, and are treated with respect and dignity. We provide training & short-break activities that reduce isolation and help carers to have a life of their own outside of caring.

We provide a day care service for adults with learning disabilities in the Bedford area, offering gardening, furniture renovation, and training in independent living skills.

The main objectives of the charity are:- To promote the independence, health and well-being of people who have dementia through direct care and therapeutic support.- To support the families of people who have dementia with advice, information, guidance and opportunity for respite.- To promote the training and education of those who work in the direct care of people who have dementia.
