The aim of Subco is to provide services to Asian elders and Carers of the sub-continent over the age of 50 years, with a particular focus on those who are frail, isolated and house bound, as well as running preventative services. Subco is a product of a community led initiative.

KingsCare League of Friends is a Devon based patient support group that runs a wide range of activities and support services for those in need within the Newton Abbot area with the aid of volunteers eg volunteer car service to medical appointments and social activities, befriending, social groups, carer support, exercise groups, benefits advice, advocacy, shopping.

Carer Support Furness (formerly Furness Carers) was established to support Unpaid Carers of all ages who are looking after a partner, relative or friend who through illness or disability cannot manage at home without help. We offer a wide range of services to meet the individual needs including: information, emotional support and practical services and we support Adult, Parent and Young Carers.

Provision of sheltered accommodation for the elderly

Pawprints Dog Rescue takes in dogs which have been picked up by local Dog Wardens, and which would have otherwise been euthanized following their statutory 7 days in local authority care. It also arranges foster care or new homes for dogs whose owners facing hospitalisation or terminal illness.Pawprints neuter, vaccinate and provide medical treatment for the dogs before rehoming them.

Provides respite support services in the borough of Bridgend to adults and children with a Learning Disability, and the elderly or disabled.Provides a localised day time Opportunities Service to adults with a Learning Disability.Offers a weekly Shopping Service to the elderly in the Porthcawl area, staffed by Volunteers.

Support for people who suffer from mental health conditions and chronic/long-term medical conditions, including cancer. Raise public awareness of mental health,chronic and long-term medical conditions, including cancer. Promote/further the care and relief of people who have a mental health diagnosis/long-term medical condition and for those aged 13-30, who have cancer, by granting feasible respite

To provide sheltered housing for elderly persons

Ackee provides medium to long term supportive shared and self contained accommodation to 21 single black women between the ages of 17 and 21, leaving care or otherwise vulnerable. Ackee supports the women to gain necessary skills for independent living, and offers counseling and advice on other aspects of life skills training, e.g. education, employment, budgeting etc.

To provide a day care facility for people with Dementia and provide respite for their carers

The BCG Food Pantry supports our marginalised communities who are suffering hardship and poverty. They can access a range of culturally sensitive foods to support their wellbeing.BCG further provides a day centre elderly and vulnerable adults. Here they can access activities to improve their health and well-being through workshops that promote their personal development and social interaction.

Sunbeams Play is an Ofsted registered charity, providing a safe, inclusive and caring environment for those with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Specialist sessions are fun, differentiated, individualised and delivered to maximise achievement. Sessions are also provided for young carers offering respite from their caring role. Training and 1-1 support is provided for parents, carers and families.

Age Concern Barnstaple and North Devon supports older and vulnerable people to reduce loneliness and isolation, improve health and wellbeing and support independent living. Services include Care Line, Community Transport, Shopping Service, Befriending, Carer Support, Hospital Support and Community Activities.

The Society assists needy elderly persons within the Bristol postcode area (BS, BA AND GL): it provides annuities, visits them regularly and makes Christmas gifts to each. The Society has also invested in the provision of sheltered living and day care accommodation for elderly people.

BHCM IS A CHRISTIAN CITY MISSION WORKING IN LOCAL SCHOOLS (TAKING ASSEMBLIES, OFFERING CURRICULUM SUPPORT, ORGANISING PRAYER SPACES, AND TRAINING MEMBERS OF LOCAL CHURCHES TO WORK IN SCHOOLS); MINISTERING IN RESIDENTIAL HOMES FOR THE ELDERLY (TAKING MONTHLY SERVICES AND ARRANGING 1:1 VISITS); AND OPERATING A FOOD BANK SUPPLYING EMERGENCY FOOD, BEDDING & HOMEWARES TO PEOPLE FACING DOMESTIC CRISES.

Improving the lives of children and adults in vulnerable situations such as orphans, widows & street children in Kenya by providing financial support with shelter, food, clothing, education, buildings and medical assistance where necessary within the community and orphanages. Promoting self sufficiency by helping establish small businesses within the orphanages and community.

The aim of Go-Forward Youth is to provide a home from home, with other support such as training in entrepreneurship, for 18-24 year old care leavers who find themselves at a low point. Go-Forward will provide a warm supported, caring environment with the developmental support that can help young people through their difficulties when they feel most isolated.

Crackerjacks provide specialist equipment and respite breaks to disabled children throughout the United Kingdom.
