BDS exists to advance the education of the public and the profession in technical subjects relating to planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation, safety, environmental and social issues relating to dams.BDS produces the Dams & Reservoirs journal, organises a number of meetings and conferences both nationally and internationally and also acts as the UK National Committee of ICOLD.

The charity delivers literacy, road safety and walk to school initiatives to support schools, families and children. In the Kent area it also supports the charitable sector by staging collaborative fundraising events which good causes use to boost their fundraising.

Serving local community providing church services and wide ranging activities open to the community including regular playgroup in the church hall as well as hosting occasional concerts in the church and a multitude in between.

The objectives of the Charity are the promotion and encouragement of the Arts by the production of primarily, musical recitals, but not excluding opera, plays, drama, lectures, readings and other artistic activities of an educational nature.

TO PROMOTE THE INTERCHANGE OF SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION AMONG PERSONSINTERESTED IN LABORATORY ANIMAL SCIENCE BY MEANS OF MEETINGS,LECTURES, DEMONSTRATIONS, DISCUSSIONS AND PUBLICATIONS ASAPPROPRIATE. 3. TO ENCOURAGE EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN LABORATORY

Worked in partnership with Age UK charity who leases our building. Have weekly meetings open to all including, Sunday school, womens sewing and craft classes. Donation to the poor in the community and abroad. Work with other organisations in the community. Other outreach and fund raising activities including bag packs and concerts and sponsored walks.

The Children's Bookshow Limited continues to provide children with education in the art of literature. The charity organises 'The National Tour of Writers and Illustrators of Children's Literature' which covers 15 theatre performances and 60 in-school workshops across the United Kingdom and continues to prove popular every financial year.

1. Promoting the teachings of Islam by producing and distributing literature, providing training, organising lectures and maintaining websites.2. Supporting new Muslims by providing classes, literature, walk-in advice service, regular social events, telephone support and weekend educational retreats.

We are an organisation that is generally funded by its own members, of whom wish to invest in the benefits of primarily their own local community and secondly those surrounding and wider, based on the teachings of Jesus. The investing has been for example focused on helping others with genuine need who cannot help themselves, hosting musical events and supporting other local charities.

Advancing the education of young people by providing grants to educational institutions and other charitable bodies to enable them to provide bursaries to students from low income families or from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or communities.Providing funding for scholarships to enable disadvantaged young people to study music or other arts.

Regular public worship open to all. Provision of sacred space and contemplation. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons courses and small groups.Taking of religious assemblies in schools. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings and the distribution of literature.Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

During the year ending 30th June 2019 TOADS performed 10 productions (two of 12 nights, others 7 ) also 8 charity nights. The Youth Group continued throughout the year with a production of 4 nights. The theatre also hosted 5 other productions by visiting amateur and professional companies. The company continued its provision of workshops to develop skills and services to the community.

NMCA is primarily a fundraising appeal fund for all freemasons in the Masonic Province of Northumberland. Each year one or more masonic provinces are nominated by The Grand Charity of the United Grand Lodge of England to host a Festival in aid of a designated charity. The Province of Northumberland was nominated to host a Festival in 2020 in aid of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution.

To preserve, record and make accessible the history of Alnwick Town and District and to showcase the work of local and national artists within a vibrant, stimulating and aesthetically pleasing environment for the benefit of the community.

We are a writing development agency running workshops, literature events, seminars, running competitions and occasional events. As part of our activities, from time to time we publish physical books averaging 2 per year and e-books averaging 2 per year.

We are a musical theatre group of amateur performers who typically put on one major production per year in Cambridge, at the Cambridge Arts' Theatre. We hold open auditions for all performing roles and welcome members interested in all aspects of being in or putting on a show.

Our activities include After School and Holiday Play schemes (4-11years), Stay & Play (under 5s), Tuesday Lunch and Socials, Arts and Crafts sessions, Family fun days, community interest faith and cultural groups, community hires and community festivals. As a strategic community hub we support a wide range of TRA's and ward partnership meetings

Promotes and provides opportunities for amateur musicians to be involved in the creation and performance of contemporary music

International Literature Festival (under the name Palfest) in towns and cities in Palestine. A festival of 14, or more, international writers which, because of the Palestinians' travel restrictions, goes to the people , conducting readings and workshops among artists, interested parties and students.
