Arts Charities

The North End Portsmouth Team Ministry provides religious education and worship in the Christian tradition. It provides facilities for the local community, including four community halls. the ministries of baptism, marriage and funerals, and a community cafe. Also pastoral care to elderly and house-bound parishioners, a choir and music group and in-service training for future ministers.

To educate the general public about cacti and other succulents, provide services to our members including publications and assist in the conservation of the plants.

The preservation of architectural and constructional heritage buildings, and education by the exhibition of buildings, objects, books and documents.

jelly is an arts organisation in the heart of Reading. Established in 1993 as an artist led studio and exhibition facility, jelly is now a registered charity limited by guarantee, running exhibitions, educational activities, special arts events and selling high quality contemporary arts and crafts.

Our charitable activities include: daily worship ? lessons in Qur'an and Arabic for children and adults ? interfaith events ? local community events ? research support and resources ? access to various library, literature and cultures ? legal and social analysis ? organisational and logistical support ? meeting space for both religious and community leisure.

To provide or assist with the provision of bursaries, facilities or equipment which support the Royal Hospital School and advance the education of the pupils (including the study of sport, music or other arts).To develop effective relationships between the staff, parents, alumni, friends and others associated with the school.

The charity runs a wide variety of creative workshops, which are aimed at improving both physical and vocal confidence and the overall well-being of its participants. Workshop themes include drama, sound technology and music. UCAN runs Maggie's Club for vision impaired children and young people with additional needs, delivers Arts Awards and supports the vision impaired sector in Wales and beyond.

AMATEUR THEATRE ARTS/CULTURE

The objects of the association are to educate the public in the musical arts and in particular the art of brass band playing and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said art by the performance of concerts and other activities.

Havercroft & Ryhill Community Learning Project (HRCLP) continues to develop a range of activities and services to the residents of the two villages and the surrounding areas in line with our charitable objects. Courses for adults continue, alongside our Library, job club, walking group, volunteer led activities and activities for children during school break times.

Regular public Christian worship open to all. Providing for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work, inc. visiting sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and groups. Taking religious assemblies in schools. Provision of youth club with Christian ethos. Promotion of Christianity through events and literature. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

Activities loosely follow the themes: our home & garden, our village & town, our environment & animals, our country, the world & space, holiday activities, the seaside, the seasons, night & day, relevant book topics, shopping, festivals, different communities, transport methods, music, physical education and body awareness, social skills and preparing for school and general safetly.

To provide facilities for recreation and leisure in the arts field, specifically theatre, including dance, music and other artistic outlets

Faith Evangelistic Ministry holds monthly meetings in central London at the Emmanuel Centre on the second Saturday evening of each month. In addition three crusades are held each year normally in January, June or July and October. During 2006 we launched an annual International Cultural Day that has included representations from over 20 nations in food; drama; song; poetry; mediadance and fashion

Include.org provides creative community activities, training and consultancy to make the world more welcoming for people with understanding or speaking difficulties. We empower people with communication needs to help train inclusive communication partners within The Include Choir. We teach a range of evidence-based techniques to help others include people with communication needs.

Art Galleries/Museums

SUPPORT LOCAL CONTEMPORARY ART, EXHIBIT PERMANENT COLLECTION, PROVIDE YOUNG PEOPLES' WORKSHOPS, PROVIDE ART RELATED EDUCATION/PRESENTATION FOR RYE AREA, CONSERVE HERITAGE ASSETS - BUILDINGS AND ART WORKS - OF THE TRUST.

The object of the charity is to maintain and promote contact between past and present members of the Corps, fostering mutual friendship between them.It also fosters 'esprit de corps', comradeship and the welfare of the Corps by preserving its traditions. It makes donations to those armed forces charities that benefit Royal Marines.

The Gallery, built in 1856 and substantially extended in 2021, houses a unique collection of works by 20th C artists who have lived in N.W. Essex, eg. Edward Bawden, Eric Ravilious, Michael Rothenstein. Other contemporary works are included to demonstrate the area's continuing artistic tradition. Over forty artists are represented in the Collection - owned by The N. W. Essex Collection Trust.

The advancement of the Christian faith with particular emphasis on the provision of literature and other forms of media communication. The promotion of other charitable purposes for the benefit of the community of Cardiff and South Wales by the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty and sickness as an expression of the Christian faith.

A place of worship advancing and educating people about religion, pastoral care, outreach, missionary, and evangelical care. Make external grants to other organisations via specific fundraising for giving to other charities. Provide buildings and facilities for concerts and community activities, e.g. classes and toddler groups.

Provision of Islamic educational talks, courses and literature and also establishing an educational centre in the near future, under the guidelines of Imam Ahmed Raza Khan (Maslak e Ala Hazrat). Also currently providing a daily English consultation service (Dar al-Ifta) where the general public can gain religious advice and answers to their queries via telephone and email.
