Arts Charities

The Society promotes public concerts at which the members perform with professional musicians. The Canterbury Choral Society Youth Choir participates in some concerts with the main choir, and participates in other concerts on its own.

TO PROVIDE SAFE, SECURE ENVIRONMENT AND CHILDCARE IN WHICH CHILDREN AGE 2-5 YEARS CAN LEARN & DEVELOP THROUGH PLAY. WE HAVE EXTRA SPACES FOR 2 YEAR FUNDED CHILDREN AND ARE A STRONG SEND PROVISION. WE PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH EXPERIENCES AND WORK WITH THE ELDERLY ON A REGENERATIONAL PROGRAMME IN THE COMMUNITY, WE REGULARLY VISIT THE LOCAL FARM, SHOPS AND LIBRARY.

Activities for elders and youngsters such as lunch club run weekly, youth under 16 club,elders womens group,cultural activities, Indian dance classes, Music lessons, Yoga classes. Kerala house renovation project, Our story Onam project - funded by HLF.

Jamaa'tu ahli llahi millwall London is a charity organisation for the benefit of the Islamic religion in London and the surrounding areas mainly but not exclusively by providing religious service and talks and producing or distributing literature on Islam to enlighten others about the Islamic religion.

We are a committee run pre-school and operate from the Childrens Centre. We provide all kinds of activities for pre-school children. Painting, all kinds of arts & crafts. We have a computer for the children to use, with various learning applications.We help the children recognise numbers and letters as in the curriculum & help them to interact with each other.We have the use of an outdoor area

Providing information to journalists on stories about religion, including research briefings and access to reputable sources of expertise and a range of informed opinion on a particular topic. Offering events where people connected with stories about religion engage and discuss issues with journalists. Providing religious literacy training to journalists and media training to religious leaders.

The principal activities and charitable objects are to encourage, promote and improve the breeding of Shorthorn cattle in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland or elsewhere, and to compile and maintain a Herd Book of recognised and pure bred Shorthorn cattle.

To provide a community centre for the people of Bedale and the surrounding area and to maintain the grade1 listed Bedale Hall, including its historic 18th century ballroom.

Activities centre on promoting education, knowledge and research into the life and works of the poet Lord Byron and the history, literature, philosophy and culture associated with him. The society arranges regular lectures and seminars on these topics, sponsors associated conferences and cultural events and grants a PhD Bursary as a funding contribution to postgraduate academic research.

The Objects of the Charity are to advance the appreciation and understanding of the arts primarily but not exclusively the visual arts and crafts for the benefit of the public. Based in Newcastle, we house 39 artist studios and have an annual programme of exhibitions and events open to members of the public, and partner with local businesses and schools supporting educational events.

The Society aims to advance education by the encouragement and pursuit of all aspects of the study of algae and to publish the results of this research in a journal. The Society assists young researchers and eligible persons/organisations in research, education and dissemination of information relating to Phycology.

To hold the regimental collection, preserving, safeguarding and displaying the articles to their best possible advantage.To apply funds at their disposal to acquire uniforms, medals, pictures, books, manuscripts, maps, documents and other articles suitable to enhance the collection.To uphold the traditions of the regiment.

Educational Theatre

The Charity offers 3 services.1. A drop in support centre. All are welcome. We listen over a brew & cake, offer pamphlets on services in the Lancaster. Christian literature, Bibles and prayer on request - no pressure.2. A food bank requiring a referral from an agency, such as Citizens' Advice.3. Advocate for ACTS 435.

We operate from the Highfield Centre, Wigan. We take a friendly and fun approach to learning. We use Early Years Curriculum to encourage children to learn through play and offer a wide range of activities, including arts/crafts, outdoor play, role play etc. We support parents access to local community and Social Services groups to help with their needs and those of their children.

Provide publications and independent education for children in order to develop their knowledge towards the national curriculum subjects.

To promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public by encouraging and fostering the understanding, knowledge, appreciation and development of jazz and associated forms of music and culture.

Gurdwara holds regular service for worship in Sikh tradition. Everyone from any walk of life can attend. A free communal meal is served after service to promote equality and good community relations. Gurdwarra promotes free education. Music, singing and social values are taught to children and adults. Welfare visits are arranged at bereavement and sickness in family.

ChallengeAid promotes health and fitness throughout the UK by motivating groups and individuals to undertake physical challenges and raise money through sponsored activity and exercise. We are active in the slums of Kenya & Tanzania, where we create Schools of Hope, offering an alternative or complimentary education for aspirational young slum dwellers, as well as adult literacy courses.

To advance the education of the public in particular those of Chinese ethnic origin in the Chinese language and culture.

Education of present and past choristers of Salisbury Cathedral.

The Community Association is open 6 days a week. We provide activities for the local and surrounding areas. This includes a pre-school, dance classes, art groups, computer classes, yoga, karate, a library and many more classes. It is a fiendly place to come and meet people of all ages and abilities, somewhere for the whole community to enjoy.

To help fund the provision through partnerships of Sport , Leisure , Theatre and Arts activities to all members of the Community on a fully inclusive basis which the SpArC centre serves in South West Shropshire i.e. the young through to the elderly , working with Schools and Care Homes , the very fit through to the less fit including patients referred for remedial fitness classes by GP surgeries .
