Arts Charities

Green Alliance carry out much of their work on a project basis, conducted through research and meetings, involving a unique network of contacts across sectors many of whom are members of Green Alliance. We provide space for debating new issues and presenting the opinions of all sides. The results of our work are disseminated through publications, the media and our website.

The NGT Foundation manages its investment responsibly and efficiently so as to be able to support the charitable objects of the National Gallery. The Foundation achieves this by making grants to the National Gallery Trust.

Life is a UK Pregnancy support charity:Creating a world where no one faces pregnancy or pregnancy loss alone. Through our services, we help more than 45,000 people each year to meet pregnancy or pregnancy loss with courage and dignity so they can flourish. Our services include a freephone Helpline, housing and community support , free practical support, and crafting educational content.

Creative Folkestone is an arts organisation committed to making great art, and through this we will make Folkestone a great place. The charity promotes creativity through the Creative Quarter, Folkestone Triennial, a festivals programme including the Folkestone Book Festival, Quarterhouse performing arts centre, the Folkestone Artworks collection and a programme of learning and engagement.

THE CHARITY MAINTAINS AND SUPPORTS DENVILLE HALL AS A RESIDENTIAL, NURSING AND DEMENTIA CARE HOME FOR ELDERLY ACTORS AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE THEATRICAL PROFESSION. THE CHARITY SERVES ELDERLY MEMBERS OF A PARTICULAR PROFESSION, ONE WHERE FINANCIAL SECURITY IS, IN MANY CASES, FAR FROM THE NORM. THE AIM OF DENVILLE HALL IS TO ENABLE RESIDENTS TO LIVE WITH DIGNITY AND FREEDOM OF CHOICE.

LIMS invites its scientists to participate in high-risk, high-payoff research in fundamental, difficult or emerging branches of science. In addition to its full-time members, LIMS at present also offers part-time employment to scientists. Through the provision of funds and a suitable working environment, LIMS scientists regularly publish papers in the world's leading research journals.

We provide support and care services to help people affected by dementia to live the life they want, in and around North Kent. The services we provide are : Support at Home, The Beacon Day Support, information and guidance, Dementia Cafes, Peer Support Groups, Medway Hospital Dementia Buddies, Kent Dementia Helpline, and Singing Back the Memories.

IMarEST is the leading professional membership body and learned society for all marine professionals, with over 20,000 members worldwide. The Institute has a strong international presence with an extensive network of around 50 international branches, offers peer-reviewed journals and an industry-focused magazine, produces conferences and events, and enjoys non-governmental status at IMO.

The charity continues to provide ongoing training courses, book promotions, free Bible distribution, radio broadcasts, conferences, public seminars and campus outreach programmes. These events are held at Bower House, Woodland Camp, a bookshop in London and in hired facilities if necessary.

West of England Music & Arts promotes music, arts and cultural activities which benefit vulnerable, disadvantaged and minority groups and those who show exceptional talent. We do this by supporting work with children, young people & adults in creating, performing, appreciating & otherwise interacting with creativity for their emotional, social, health or education benefit

Provision of a year-round theatre and performing arts resource for the communities of, and visitors to, Cumbria.Activities include productions and performances created in-house and by others for public consumption, programmes of participatory activity and workshop activity focussed on professional artistic development.

I C M presents a range of music and related education activities at its Manchester Venue Band on the Wall. Other local charities utilise space and facilities at reduced rates. The building re-opened in September 2009 following extensive renovation, and now incorporates meeting rooms, office facilities, music venue, workshop space and the provision of food and drink.

Arts Centre offering Theatre, Cinema and Art Gallery. We deliver Arts in Education within South Tyneside and within the North East Region and are actively engaged in arts development as well as the use of the arts to promote social and economic regeneration.

Drama and Education

We ensure the building is maintained and in operation, and we present and promote theatre productions. In addition to this, we support drama groups and schools by offering them access to the theatre.

The Civic is an artistic, cultural and business hub which provides a contemporary and creative environment offering local visitors and those from further afield a fantastic opportunity to access an extraordinary and diverse selection of visual art, dance, drama, comedy, music and family performances, right in the heart of Barnsley Town Centre.

PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ASPECTS BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS, INCLUDING THE CARRYING ON OF ACTIVITIES OF THE ORCHESTRA KNOWN AS THE OXFORD PHILHARMONIC, AND PROMOTE THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF SUCH CHARITABLE BODIES AS SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.

THE SOCIETY PROMOTES EXPERIMENTAL BIOLOGY WITHIN THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY AND SOCIETY. THE SOCIETY'S ACTIVITIES INCLUDE ORGANISATION AND SPONSORSHIP OF CONFERENCES; THE PUBLICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE; EDUCATION, CAREERS AND POLICY WORK; THE ADMINISTRATION OF TRAVEL GRANTS; MEMBERSHIP TO EXPERIMENTAL BIOLOGY RESEARCHERS.
