Arts Charities

HU4 provides the residents of HU4 and Kingston upon Hull with the following activities; Warm space, community library, community cafe, food bank, community space, green space, craft sessions, debt advice, health advice, mum and tots sessions and older peoples sessions.

Theatre and arts management

The Trust is working to preserve a major historic building, the Llanfyllin Union Workhouse in Montgomeryshire, and to give it a viable community use. It is creating a facility to enrich people's lives through music and the arts; education and awareness of history, heritage and the environment. It provides space for local enterprises and for visitors as well as a Workhouse History Centre.

Advancement of the education of the public in the arts, and in particular, in the arts of music, speech, drama, dance and the visual arts; and to promote such other charitable purposes as the trustees shall in their absolute discretion determine.

The Slaithwaite Civic Hall Trust maintains and manages Slaithwaite Civic Hall for the benefit of the community of Slaithwaite and the wider surrounding area. Rooms are available for hire include a theatre style hall with stage and capacity for 250, a large meeting room, a number of smaller rooms and offices. The Trust also promotes performing and visual arts.

Regular public worship open to all. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and taking of religious assemblies in schools. Promotion of Christianity through events, meetings, and distributing literature. Promoting the whole mission of the Church through activities for all ages. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

The society's object is to provide the means by which people may learn to perform music, act and dance and to entertain. The society supports other charities by performing concerts in and around the Redruth area but has also travelled to Scotland and Lancashire to support local charities there. It provides access for the public of all ages to learn and enjoy the dramatic arts.

Through our centre; the provision of a wide range of church activities including weekly prayer & worship, teaching groups and fellowship. Also through our centre, a range of community services, provided free, including Cafe with soft play area, after schools clubs, toddler clubs, seniors clubs, youth clubs, food bank, job centre, debt advice, community cinema, community choir.

We are an arts and educational charity with over 15 years experience. Our work rests on the principles of participation with local communities, working to give people a voice using a choice of creative mediums.Our projects involve using mediums such as film making, animation, oral history interviews, fine art, design, photography and interactive.

Celebrating Birthdays, Martyrdom days and anniversaries of Sikh Gurus with great dignity and reverence;Free Kitchen on every Sundays and any other days of religious importance or Festivals, which is open to all communities and for those attending the GurudwaraArranging for marriage ceremony according to the Sikh rites and the prevailing law of this country;Holding of prayers.

The main purposes of the WI organisation are to enable women to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public question, in music, drama and other cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. Working together to put into practice these ideals.

Children's educationtal establishment.

Promotion of any charitable purpose which will encourage the exercise of and maintain the standards of crafts both ancient and modern, preserve and improve craftsmanship and foster, promote and increase the interest of the public particularly in the County of Cornwall.

The charity was engaged in setting up, running, promoting and fundraising for Cross Rhythms Plymouth, the new community radio station for the city. The content of the programming is contemporary Christian music with a mix of local news and community events information. Studio premises were secured and a radio studio was built and equipped.A transmitter was erected and approved by Ofcom.

Maintaining and promoting the performance and appreciation of church music in Hampstead and in particular Hampstead Parish Church.

The aim of the charity is to promote involvement in the art of orchestral music-making and to make it as widely available as possible to young people of all communities and backgrounds, predominantly but not exclusively, in the London Borough of Ealing.

5 On It Foundation provides life-altering programmes using professional sporting and music role models to deliver a range of engaging activities which incorporate team sports and creative arts. Each programme is designed to convey a range of positive health and lifestyle messages to educate young people within the local community and help them build a better future.

Saturday Morning Music School. Approximately 150 students in the age range of 5 years to 80

Provision of tuition in drama and performing arts for children and young people

St Michaels Community Centre provides facilities for use by the local community including user groups for benefit of well being and social interaction. It also provides a facility for regular NHS blood donations teams, and a full time pre school day nursery. After school extra curriculum classes include Kumon education and stage school dancing classes.

TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE DRAMATIC AND OPERATIC ARTS TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND TASTE IN THE SAID ARTS, TO ASSIST AND FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
