Promoting education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in and around the city of Oxford by the presentation of public concerts and recitals

Cowbridge Music Festival is an annual festival, held in September in the Vale of Glamorgan, of chamber, instrumental and vocal music, jazz and folk music. Providing opportunities for young musicians it includes an extensive schools outreach programme, concerts given by young musicians and the Chamber Music Seminar. The Festival Fringe was started in 2018 to give opportunities to local music groups

Building better communities through music and media

To promote equality and diversity, advance education and eliminate discrimination against trans, intersex, non-binary, gender-variant and gender-queer people for the public benefit by raising awareness of the issues affecting said persons, in particular by organising and staging an annual Pride festival

The object of the charity is to advance the education and training of the public in particular, but not exclusively, persons who have a learning disability in radio broadcasting and media skills techniques.

We are a group of charitable men and women working for and with the community, hosting activities (including a bed race and a beer festival) to raise money to support good causes. At least 80% of what we raise is distributed to local causes.

Grant scholarships or bursaries to and train musicians, choristers and choirs to help them progress in their music training and experience; provide grants to support the salaries of staff in the music department; provide and maintain music, musical instruments etc. used for music within the Cathedral; provide musical and choral education in schools, churches and the community.

The objects for which the society is established are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education, particularly by the production of educational plays and the encouragement of the arts of drama, mime, dancing, singing and music, and to formulate, prepare and establish schemes therefore, provided that all objects of the society shall be of an educative or charitable nature.

Promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. Provides a variety of activities including camps, sports, crafts, leadership development.

Staging Musical Theatre.Operation of Community Centre

To advance participation in and education for the public benefit by the promotion of the arts, in particular but not exclusively the art of dance.

The organisation has provided services of worship; religious teaching; facilities to allow believers to practice their faith and follow doctrine; and to provide and make available literature explaining doctrines and the concept of salvation.

An education charity that works in partnership with schools and other organisations enabling young people to explore how to create and sustain positive, long-lasting relationships. Explore facilitates youth-led sessions to help young people challenge negative and/or unrealistic media depictions of relationships, develop emotional literacy and knowledge of relationships to support positive choices.

To educate the public in the operatic and dramatic arts and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts and to develop vocal, dance and amateur talent.

The goal of Equal People was to open performing arts facilities that are accessible to all. In 2014/2015 a facility to accommodate the needs of all was opened and the many years of donations and charitable activities was invested. Now the charity needs to maintain the wonderful facility and ensure that opportunities are available to allow the charity to continue fulfilling the objectives.

The Association provides support, information and advocacy for people undergoing urinary diversion surgery of any kind. Support is provided via local Branches which hold regular meetings, production of a magazine three times a year and leaflets on relevant topics. There is also a helpline service.The Association also represents those with a urinary diversion.

The promotion of skills in choral leadership.

The charity has a policy of giving grants for the public benefit to improve conditions and lives of people through education, advice, support and training. The trustees focus in particular on young people and youth organisations and activities; arts scholarships, music & literature, heritage & conservation and the military and veterans.

We are a Christian church who believe that God really loves Blackburn. We're demonstrating this partly by having formed a charity to buy the old Apollo Cinema. We want to restore it into a centre which will be vibrant, diverse, and life-giving. Religious activities: provision of mosque for prayer and worship for all age groups.Education/training of children and young people by providing supplementary school (Madrasa) classes to teach the Noble Quran, Islamic studies & Urdu and promote muslim way of life.Provision of charity bookshop for the community on all aspects of Islam through sale of books and other merchandise.

The promotion of the highest artistic and technical standards in the teaching of the piano, the promotion of the study of the piano and furthering musical education generally.

We are a performing arts school which offers a fully comprehensive professional training in drama, dance and musical theatre to children from aged 3 - 18. Scholarships and bursaries are available to the disadvantaged and needy.
