Arts Charities

We hire rooms at the centre, and also run table tennis, art and photographic clubs plus folks alone organisations and the Llandudno Music Theatre group for children from 7 to 17 for music and drama.

We are working in the area to facilitate the religious, spiritual and educational needs of the community. We are working closely with the wider community to improve the social, educational, environmental and economic conditions. Some of activities include Luncheon Club, Festival Celebration, Youth Training course and Families Get Together.

The Church works to advance the Christian Faith for the benefit of the public in the North Telford area, in particular but not exclusively, through the provision of opportunity for prayer, worship, teaching, fellowship, communion, the public celebration of Christian festivals and evangelism to enlighten others about the Christian Faith, and the provision of pastoral care to the community.

To promote and advance agriculture, horticulture, forestry, farming, the breeding and rearing of livestock, rural crafts and allied industries.

We maintain a ministry of 'helps' for the entire Christian community and for the wider population by:1 The availability of literature through the Christian Bookshop in Launceston 2 The availability of help through prayer,ministry,outreach and counselling3 Discretionary grants for local people training or engaged in Christian work4 Encouraging people to find faith in our Lord Jesus Christ

The advancement of education in Bushey and district by the provision of a community museum and art gallery and local studies centre with material of archaeological, historical, artistic and social interest.

- Advancement of the Hindu religion, and in particular amongst the Hindu Gujarati people, for promotion, education, support and advancement of the Hindu culture, heritage, music, dance and art by providing a centre, library, exhibitions and displays.

The Charity pays for education and teaching expenses, establishment and management expenses of St Clement and St James CE Primary School not otherwise provided, in promoting the education, social and physical training, music and other arts for the benefit of all pupils of St Clement and St James CE Primary School.

TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY BY THE ESTABLISHMENT, MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF A CENTRE TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE FACILITIES. Manage and maintain the Marlow Bottom Playing fields and Play area. Raise Funds to do so and to enhance the play area. Main fund raising activity is an outdoor music concert in September and a fireworks display in November.

Provision of 3 Halls, stage, committee room, kitchen and toilets for the advantage of the people of Mere, in Wiltshire, and to promote spiritual, intellectual and social activities, i.e. Plays, films, sporting, medical and social activities, lectures and public meetings. Annual grants are also offered to organisations and local charities within 8 mile radius of Mere.

The charity provides a focal point for the community of Morvah and surrounding district. It provides educational and leisure workshops for all ages. We provide concerts, poetry, talks and films. We have strong links to the art and crafts and provide a showcase in the gallery and coffee shop to emerging artists. The schoolhouse is the polling station for Morvah at election times.

The centre is use most evenings by the youth of the area. Keeping the children of the roads occuping them with games, arts and crafts, pool, Wii's, computers and other activities. Most days are taken up by the adults - slimming club, coffee mornings etc During school holidays the centre is use by the children, where volunteers and parents along with bought in activities keep them occupied.

The society's activities are to educate the public in the art and science of choral music in the presentation of concerts and other activities and in furtherance thereof to encourage and support other musical activities in the local area.

BALPA (Bristol Academy of Live Performing Arts) for ages 2 - 18 year olds in singing, dancing, musical theatre and instruments. We run a bursary scheme for this to ensure it is accessible to all community members within this age range. Community activities such as involvement in the carnival and Christmas lights switch on. We are now running adult classes as well.

Provide a nutritious lunch four days a week and offer other such support to the members of the local retired community. Provide transport where required.Services provided include hairdressing, chiropody, fitness and seated yoga sessions as well as health initiatives such as annual influenza vaccinations. Visiting theatre companies and entertainers areoften additions to the schedule.

The advancement of education for the public benefit by the maintenance and operation of a library in the village of Harbury.

Organises, publicises, and delivers an annual classical music festival and other concerts.Provides performance opportunities for postgraduate music students from London conservatoires, other music students and young professional musicians.Supports a Music in Education (Strings Scheme) in Guildford-area primary schools.

Lee Hub Independent Community Library aims to deliver a Community Library, Community Cafe and meetings space for social activities, health & wellbeing programmes.

THE ROMANIAN ORTHODOX PARISH OF ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST AND ST. ALBAN (the Charity, the Church) aims to build a Christian Orthodox community in Luton, Bedfordshire by promoting Orthodox teachings and providing a place of worship.We organise religious services on Sundays and during the week, in accordance with the Christian Orthodox festivals.
