Arts Charities

We have 101 members in our Scout Group and our aim is to gain lifeskills and work towards badges. The Scouts and Cubs attend Patrol, Survival, District, Walking Weekends and Sleepover camps and a different Summer Camp each year. The Beavers visit the Cubs at camp, the Fire Station, Pantomime and Cinema trips and have a visit from an Airline Pilot and Policeman as well as varied weekly activities.

Polish Saturday School has been established in 2016. Its purpose is to advance education for the public benefit in Polish language, culture, tradition and history. School focus its activities on providing teaching about Poland, the Polish language, history, geography, Polish customs, traditions and also organizing various cultural events.

Production of plays and the promotion of play & poetry readings.Workshops and lectures aimed at developing interest and skills in all aspects of drama and stage craft.

The Charity established and now maintains a library and art gallery which is open to the public. It promotes the study and education and a knowledge of literature, the arts and music in Lincolnshire by organising art exhibitions, an annual art competition, an annual poetry competition for schools and by giving grants and loans for study, education and knowledge to organisations and individuals.

We are a non auditioning choir based in Loughton.We normally present three choral concerts per year with orchestral.Occasional choral and voice training workshops are held.

Advancing education and social welfare through providing and managing a community centre for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of primarily benefitting the inhabitants of Whipton, Exeter, and those individuals accessing the clubs, groups and utilising the centre as a venue. At present, regular groups using the hall include music, art and social clubs, groups supporting needs.

Holding of public celebrations of religious festivals, prayer meetings, discourses, singing ofbhajan and kirtans (Hindu prayers and hymns), classes and producing seminars and literature on SanatanDharma (Hinduism). Participation and organisation of historic and cultural traditions of religious folk-dancing, recital of ancientIndian spiritual poetry and education of Indian classical dancing

Biodiversity conservation especially in High Nature Value semi-natural landscapes of Transylvania; supporting traditional small-scale farming communities; supporting small-scale food producers and local food chains including markets; forest conservation; rural- and eco-tourism development; policy advocacy and publications related to these activities; project management of these activities

BRAMHAM VILLAGE HALL IS THE LOCAL NAME FOR "PARISH ROOM & INSTITUTE". IT HAS A MAIN HALL, SIDE HALL/SUPPER ROOM, KITCHEN/BAR, STAGE PLUS ADJACENT DWELLING, COSY COTTAGE. THE HALL IS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE & USE BY LOCAL GROUPS INCLUDING GUIDES, ART GROUP, DANCE CLASSES, DRAMA GROUP, YORKSHIRE COUNTRY WOMEN, CHILDREN'S GROUPS, SENIOR CITIZENS & INDIVIDUALS. NAMED TRUSTEES ARE THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.

To educate the public in the operatic, dramatic and musical theatrical arts, to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts.

The charity provides and hosts social, leisure and health promoting activities. These include coffee mornings, weekly lunches, community breakfasts, an annual village show, keep fit classes, yoga, film nights, history and archaeology society, and various other clubs and societies. The facilities we provide are a village hall, swimming pools and car park.

TRANSACTION COLLABORATES WITH DIVERSE ARTISTS TO CREATE A TOURING PROGRAMME OF HIGH QUALITY EXPERIMENTAL MULTI-ART FORM QUEER-FEMINIST PERFORMANCE. OUR VISION IS TO CREATE A PERFORMANCE FROM THE PERIPHERY THAT CONTINUALLY RESPONDS TO, AND REFLECTS THE DIVERSITY WITHIN CONTEMPORARY CULTURE.

Promoting concerts for public performance in the name of the choir. Performing at concerts on behalf of communities and other organisations.Commissioning new musical works for performance.Offering free membership to talented school-age musicians.

We run a community hub through which we offer a safe and welcoming space by hosting activities which bring together people from different cultures, ages and backgrounds who live locally.All activities are based on community consultation and we prioritise groups run by local people themselves.Example activities are music workshops, fun days, craft and cooking groups, celebrating festivals etc.

The objects of the Charity are to advance the education of children and young persons attending Thornton College, in particular by providing and assisting with the provision of books, equipment, buildings and other items and facilities at the College which would not otherwise be provided.

The Charity uses Arts as a means to build self-confidence in its teenage members and does this through various Arts-based projects including Theatre, Dance, Technical Skills, Make-up, etc.

Faithouse church activities include holding prayer meetings, faith-based schools, special programs and retreats, weekly public worship meetings, producing and/or distributing media on the christian faith to enlighten others about the christian faith through radio, television, books, magazines and other social media channels, donations and services to the poor or less privileged, pastoral work incl

Works with Nigerian Partner Organisations to save and transform the lives of vulnerable and stigmatised children; provide education and raise literacy levels of less privilaged children. Through advocacy and campaigning we promote a greater understanding of child rights and aim to prevent abuse of children today.

The charity runs a kindergarten for children aged 2 1/2 to 6 years. We use the ideas of Steiner Waldorf education, with the seasonal cycle and festivals providing the framework for creative activities and free play. The charity also runs parent and child groups for younger children. The charity also promotes our educational ideas to adults through talks and activities.
