Education of the public in languages, literature, cultures, histories and people in the world, but not exclusively, by the provision of grants and scholarships to allow individuals to learn other languages and to become language teachers; and the prevention or relief of poverty anywhere in the world.

We operate a 3-screen cinema, for leisure/entertainment and education/social activities. We improve quality of life for residents of South Sefton and surrounding areas by: -+?+?+? advancing education in the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the art of film,+?+?+? providing recreational and leisure facilities, +?+?+? providing volunteering opportunities so improving employability.

Pro Corda Trust exists to provide for and conduct the education of young persons and others in the whole art, philosophy and theory of music, particularly chamber music.

Brunswick offers purposeful work and training to people with learning difficulties. They have the chance to work in horticulture, cooking and crafts, and are supported to produce goods which are sold on site.

THE CHARITY CONTINUES TO ENCOURAGE NEW, UP AND COMING WRITERS TO WORK IN THE THEATRE; WE GIVE THE THEATRE TO SOME REGISTERED ORGANISATIONS TO ENABLE THEM TO SHOWCASE THEIR VALUABLE WORK. THE SHOWCASES ARE ESPECIALLY REWARDING FOR US AS OVER THE YEARS SEVERAL ACTORS HAVE GONE ON TO PERFORM IN THE WEST END.

The BIEA is active in research into the history, archaeology and social sciences of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and surrounding countries. It encourages research by individual scholars, works with the universities, museums and antiquities services of the eastern African countries and liaises with international scholarship. It maintains a centre for research and a library at its base in Nairobi.

The charity seeks to advance the Christian religion by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to the Bible mainly through:- 1) Broadcasting and distributing Christian messages 2) Producing and distributing literature 3) Holding local church meetings and assemblies 4) Ordaining and granting credentials or licences to preach to such individuals considered by the charity to be qualified.

To collect, preserve and present accessibly the works and activities of the Royal Engineers through a Museum and Library; to educate and promote scholarship and enjoyment therein for military and civilian customers; thereby to contribute positively to the proficiency, reputation and efficiency of the Royal Engineers, the recruitment and inspiration of its members and the benefit of the public.

ONE DANCE UK IS THE NATIONAL VOICE FOR DANCE, ADVOCATING FOR THE INCREASED PROFILE OF DANCE IN ALL ITS DIVERSE AND DYNAMIC FORMS. BY WORKING WITH AND ON BEHALF OF THE DANCE SECTOR, ONE DANCE UK AIMS TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE, LONGER DANCE CAREERS AND TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS IN WHICH DANCE IS CREATED, PERFORMED AND EXPERIENCED.

The principal activity of the charity is to foster, promote and increase public interest in, and knowledge and understanding of, the Arts in general and, in particular, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and Classical music.

The charity runs a museum and a library, as well as undertaking a range of projects in order to support dentists within Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

To encourage the study and practice of the dramatic arts and to promote and conduct theatrical and musical performances, lectures, concerts and educational activities to this end

to educate the public in visual arts, and to assist in public appreciation of such arts by the establishment of the Mostyn Gallery in Llandudno, North Wales. Mostyn exists to open dialogue on contemporary art exhibitions, learning and engagement for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Supporting journalists and their dependants by the provision of retirement housing facilities. Also by making grants in approved cases to individuals who meet the occupational requirement.

To administer Brantwood as a permanent memorial to John Ruskin and as a museum, to which members of the public shall have access, containing collections of drawings, books and objects of interest connected with John Ruskin; and as a place of study and recreation for students, teachers and professors and such other members of the public as may from time to time be approved bythe Management Trustees

The objects for which the charity exists relate to the advancement of the art of literature for the public benefit. We foster & promote literature of merit written by women in all its forms, including by the encouragement of diversity & greater gender equality amongst writers & by the award of an annual prize for a full length novel written by a woman of any nationality & published in English.

To produce a music festival to the highest standards, on a rotational basis in the cities and surrounding area of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester, augmented by outreach and participation activity in the local community.

Curating or attending events in an official capacity including speaking, lobbying, raising awareness and challenging hearts and minds. To deliver the annual Bristol Pride festival and programme of LGBT events and activities.

Regular public worship, pastoral work including visiting sick and bereaved, teaching of Christianity, taking religious assemblies in schools, provision of youth club with Christian ethos, promotion of Christianity through events and distribution of literature, promoting the whole mission of the church for senior citizens, children, parents and toddlers, supporting other charities.

The Charity aims to create opportunities which will deepen the interests and skills of children and youngpeople from 0 to 18, and families and people of all ages in the community through providing a range ofmusical and social experiences. Music programmes in local schools will be delivered, supported and facilitated.

Open Up Music empowers young disabled musicians to build inclusive youth orchestras. Together we develop accessible musical instruments and repertoire, challenge expectations and forge new progression routes through the creation of great music.
