Number 8 is a Community Arts Centre inspired and led by the people of Pershore. It provides a programme of film, live events, event cinema, creative workshops and exhibitions, and offers facilities for community classes and groups. Opened in 2004 it is governed by a Board of Trustees and managed by an Executive Team which includes two senior employees, supported by approximately 200 volunteers.

The promotion and advancement of the arts and in particular the arts of dance, design, lighting, stagecraft and similar and ancillary arts, together with the promotion and assistance in the advancement of public education in and knowledge of the arts of ballet, drama, music, the visual arts and the education and training of young people of moderate or limited means in these arts.

Spread the Word promotes and develops literature and creative writing within London. We work with writers of all levels, from beginners to published authors, and across all genres, including fiction, poetry and playwriting, to enable them to reach their full potential.

More Music aims to build confidence and spirit in individuals and communities through creative arts activities particularly music. Based in the seaside town of Morecambe, More Music is a music education charity that works throughout the Lancaster district, Lancashire, the north west and internationally.

-Day care and homecare for the elderly and disabled-Study support for children underarchieving in core curriculum subjects in main stream schools-Training projects for youths in IT, decorating, painting, woodworking and plumbing.-Providing accomodation for Men's and Women's groups who engage in various activities such as recreation, health and fitness training and sewing.

Supports people pre and post colostomy operation and their families and carers. Produces a range of literature, including a quarterly magazine. Operates a 24 / 7 Helpline. 90+ contact volunteers across country.

To advance the education of school pupils throughout the world by developing their understanding, knowledge and appreciation of music.

MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF THE ORCHESTRA. THE PROMOTION OF CONCERTS ON ITS OWN ACCOUNT AND WITH LOCAL PROMOTERS AND THE PRESENTATION OF EDUCATION PROJECTS.

1. Theatre In Education: productions/workshops in primary & secondary schools that support the RE Curriculum, and also address social issues e.g. knife crime, internet safety.2. Theatre in communities, churches and national theatres.3. Partnerships with national organisations, telling historic stories of their founders & development e.g. YMCA, Mothers' Union.4. International Christian broadcasting

Afternoon shows with high tea and outreach work taking music hall shows to those people suffering dementia, alzheimers mental health difficulties. The afternoon music hall shows with tea are held at our own theatre.

Working to improve the British public's understanding of the Arab world, the Centre is home to art exhibitions and a specialist library open to the public. Organising and promoting Arab-related arts and cultural events in the UK including Arabic Calligraphy and language classes, talks on a variety of topics and an award. The Centre houses and supports like-minded organisations at its premises.

IN ADDITION TO DANCE INDIVIDUAL FITNESS IS PROMOTED PROVIDING GUIDANCE TO YOUNG PERFORMERS WITH PILATES, MULTI-GYM & PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS AMONGST OTHER SPECIALISED GUEST WORKSHOPS.

The charity's main objective is to advance the education of the public by encouraging the understanding and appreciation of music and opera, in particular but not exclusively through the presentation of public performances of opera.

Lancaster Footlights is a thriving amateur drama group which is based at Lancaster Grand Theatre. They first started performing in the 1920's and purchased the Grand in 1951 to save it from demolition. Over the years the theatre has been progressively restored and it is now regularly used by many community groups and a wide range of professional acts.

Providing children and community dance lessons and events in Greater London. During the year, the charity has geographically expanded, bringing opportunities to more communities, including Finchley & Colindale. Asian Arts Agency is dedicated to raising the profile of Asian music and arts across Bristol, the Southwest region and throughout the UK. We aim to build and secure a place for Asian Arts within mainstream arts activity across Bristol and further afield.

Rural Arts delivers a programme of visual and performing arts & media skills and training to communities where cultural services are poor or none existent and in areas of deprivation. Rural Arts also coordinates ON Tour, offering a programme of professional live theatre to village/community venues across North Yorkshire.
