To stimulate interest in and encourage research into the scientific and technical problems of snow and ice worldwide; to facilitate and increase the flow of glaciological ideas and information; to publish the Journal of Glaciology, Annals of Glaciology, the IGS newsletter ICE and other such publications as the Council from time to time determine; to sponsor lectures, field meetings and symposia.

Sunningwell School of Art is a unique centre for the tuition of art to students of all ages and abilities in many types of media, such as drawing, painting, printing, mixed media, ceramics and sculpture. Classes are tutored by professional art tutors.

We are a parish of three beautiful churches. St John's, Forton Road, Holy Trinity, Trinity Green and Christ Church, Stoke Rd all in Gosport. We provide worship which involves singing, praying, or reading from the Bible. we are committed to serving the community, through worship, and a hot meal, Tots, Toddlers and Youth groups are activities we currently run. with many services to suit all.

Maintain and enhance Cooper Art Collection, make it accessible to general public and to encourage and promote art generally in the Barnsley Metropolitan District.

The relief of poverty sickness and old age, the advancement of education, the advancement of religion, promotion of interfaith and intercultural dialogue.Organisation of courses and conferences and publication of books and magazines.

Provision of educational services to 4-18 years old in Performing Arts.This includes working with a number of bodies to provide examinations in the Performing Arts in all forms of dance, musical theatre, Lamda, DDE and BTEC.

We provide regular public worship open to all; sacred space for personal prayer & contemplation; pastoral visiting; teaching of Christianity through sermons and small groups; the promotion of Christianity through events, meetings & distribution of literature; activities for senior citizens, young people, parents & toddlers, plus open-to-all social events; support for other UK & overseas charities.

Sound Connections develops, supports & empowers young Londoners through high quality music-making opportunities. We do this by delivering groundbreaking participatory music projects, providing professional development to music organisations and practitioners, and undertaking high quality action research and advocacy to promote best practice in music education.

New Earth Theatre presents and develops work with British East and South East Asian (BESEA) artists that asks key questions of identity, of the world we live in and our place in that world. They produce touring plays and readings across the year, as well as nurture BESEA talent through their Academy acting and writing courses and Professional Writers Programme.

Gypsies and Travellers Wales provides an extensive information, advice and liaison service to Gypsies and Travellers, the Local Authority and all relevant agencies and professionals. The Organisation also runs specific issue based projects: an IT-based Driving Theory course, provides IT & Literacy skills sessions, Employment skills workshops and weekly Youth activities sessions.

TAPE works to support creative ideas and activities of individuals, groups, organisations and businesses. TAPE provides safe, supported spaces in which people can explore and develop creative ideas. TAPE works to maximise opportunities for people through creative arts and media with a a pathway of support which ranges through engagement, training, education, social activity and employment.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS OF ACTING, MUSICAL THEATRE, OPERA AND NEW THEATRE WRITING.

Provision of activities for senior citizens, parents and toddlers and other special needs groups. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. Taking religious assemblies in schools. THE ECONOMIC HISTORY SOCIETY EXISTS TO:PROMOTE THE STUDY OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL HISTORY;ESTABLISH CLOSER RELATIONS BETWEEN STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL HISTORY;ISSUE THE ECONOMIC HISTORY REVIEW;PUBLISH AND SPONSOR OTHER PUBLICATIONS IN THE FIELDS OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL HISTORY;HOLD AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE;TO CO-OPERATE WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS HAVING KINDRED PURPOSES.

Curious Arts is a Newcastle Gateshead based charity championing and developing Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual plus, arts, artists and audiences across the North East of England and beyond. Producers of award-winning Curious Festival, Curious Arts co-ordinate Queer Arts North and develop community-focused arts projects, artist commissions, youth groups and events.

The range of services and activities offered include childrens nursery and workshops, bridge, trapeze classes, dance classes for children and adults, music session for under 4's, under 4's drop-in, yoga, life drawing, seniors yoga, Open House, evening talks, narcotics anonymous, children's ballet, members bar, community choir, councillors surgeries, lunch club. We also run a community library.

The charity is committed to enabling as many people as possible to worship at our church and to become part of the parish community of St Anne's. Our services and worship put faith into practice through prayer and scripture, music and sacrament.

AWDC forges new choreographic territory, collaborates with leaders in design and technology and creates dance works that challenge and engage existing and new audiences. A desire to further knowledge and understanding of dance within the field as well as to the broader public is also a driving force behind the company's work.

The principal activity of the company is the encouragement of the arts by the production of educational plays.

Our programmes are varied but include initiatives to develop sustainable communities; making films about conflict resolution; working to bring trust and integrity into the business and financial sectors; helping young people to find a sense of vocation.

The aim of the Jewish Literary Foundation is to stimulate and encourage the reading of books on every aspect of Jewish thought, life, literature and history and culture.

We work to bring down the barriers which hinder people from flourishing. Projects include the mentoring of children, family cookery clubs and literacy programmes
