The charity acts to advance the education and skills of the public using the method of 'Video Interaction Guidance'. It does this by ensuring that helping professionals who practice VIG are themselves competent.

The principal activity of the Trust, which was founded in 1879, is to support the teaching and training students in the Arts, Crafts and Sciences of the Fine Arts. The Trust maintains and develops the land and buildings occupied by the City & Guilds of London Art School, which operates as a separate independent charity since 1 April 2012 following a business transfer agreement.

The Courthouse Project runs a fully accessible arts and resource centre in Otley where people of all ages take part in arts educational, heritage and voluntary sector activities inc. music/theatre/dance/visual arts workshops, rehearsals, classes, training, meetings and performances; digital media, exhibitions and visual arts/crafts activities. It supports 135 volunteers who help run the building.

The Society promotes the study of garden history through the publication of a journal, 'Garden History' and an annual conference, lectures, seminars and visits. The Society promotes the protection and conservation of historic parks, gardens and designed landscapes through a Conservation Committee and a team of Conservation Officers.

To advance education, particularly through the development, promotion and encouragement of the arts in Brighton,Hove and the surrounding areas; to promote the Festival Fringe during the period of the Brighton Festival each year,aiming to encourage the development and quality of new venues and work at all scales.

We provide gospel halls for the religious activities of Christians. Meetings are held including bible readings & gospel preachings and details can be found on the website www.plymouthbrethrenchristianchurch.org. Gospel literature is readily available, street preachings are held regularly, food packs are provided to those in need. Free bibles are distributed.

Speak Out in Hounslow is a user led, charitable organisation based in Hounslow providing services to people with learning disabilities and/or autism. We run activities including fitness, learning, a campaign project, social outings, volunteering opportunities, drama/music project, consultation and learning disability awareness services for organisations and companies.

Supports the work of the University of Bristol Theatre Collection, volunteering roles in the archives and raising funds to assist in the purchase of new acquisitions.

Owns and manages Whitby Museum in North Yorkshire, which includes a Library and Document Archive, on behalf of the people of Whitby.

Provision of gymnastics and dance club and coaching for children, young people and adults. The Club operates from a designated facility in Hackney and also provides gymnastics coaching in a number of schools in Hackney and Islington.

Vital Xposure is a disability-led theatre company that educates about diversity through theatreproductions and training programmes that expose and challenge cultural and social prejudice.

The Television Workshop promotes, enhances, develops and maintains the education of young people, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, in relation to performing arts and media. The objects are achieved by the provision of workshops in film and television, theatre and drama skills and the preparation and the presentation of theatre performances by children and young people.

GINGKO works to improve mutual understanding between the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the West. We fund and publish innovative research into the history, art history and religions of the MENA region. We bring together people from MENA and the West for transformative interfaith and intercultural encounters.

The trustees shall pay or apply the income of the trust fund and pay or apply the whole or any part of the capital of the trust fund to such charities or for such charitable purposes as the trustees shall from time to time in their absolute uncontrolled discretion think fit. In the medium term the trustees' principal aim will be the continued support of the National Library of Scotland.

Middleton Elderly Aid is a Neighborhood Network Scheme in Leeds working to reduce social isolation for the over 60s in Middleton. We offer Lunch clubs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We also run activities all day 6 days a week. We have a variety of groups such as crafts, various exercise groups, computer classes, etc. Charity Shop open 9 - 3 and the Social Centre 9.-4 6 days a week.

We are a thriving, York based, community theatre and social hub, hiring out our space and facilities to groups and individuals, and providing a venue for social activities and meetings likely to benefit the communities we serve.
