Love & Joy Ministries advances the Christian faith through the medium of music, dance and drama and by demonstrating the Gospel through practical help to the most vulnerable in the community,including homeless children,young people,excluded groups and the elderly.

Buskaid runs a Music School in Soweto, teaching violin, viola, cello and double bass to more than eighty young musicians aged between 4 and 25. Funds for the School are raised through charitable trusts in South Africa, the USA and the UK. In addition, Buskaid has supported students from the Music School who have been successful in gaining places for tertiary study at music college in the UK.

LABBS delivers its goal of promotion and education of Barbershop singing by providing support to over 2200 individual members of 60 Barbershop Choruses and 54 registered Quartets. They are actively involved in their local communities. Our member choruses and quartets regularly perform at local community events, including charity events, where they promote Barbershop singing to their audience.

Advancement of the Roman Catholic religion and service of the community through monastic life and hospitality; internet ministry; library services; provision of non-denominational retreat facilities.

Our core work is to promote healthy lifestyles by raising awareness of the dangers of alcohol, drugs, smoking and gambling, through various methods: health information display boards; age appropriate literature; current information and news on our website, and social media platforms. Our health information display boards cover topics for all ages and are available free of charge across the UK.

The Upper Norwood Library Trust was formed by local residents with the objective of taking over the operation, governance and management of the Upper Norwood Joint Library (UNJL) as a library and community hub. Due to significant funding reductions the library has been at risk of closure. The Trust runs courses, activities and provides facilities at the Library Hub for the local community.

To publish and disseminate a journal of hydrological sciences and also a series of hydrological conference proceedings and books to advance the knowledge of hydrology internationally. Many of these publications are distributed free of charge to universities and research establishments in developing countries.

The Friends of French Institute aims to support the educational and cultural activities of the French Institute, such as showing French and European films, plays, lectures and concerts of classical music, and promoting contemporary music. The French Institute exists to promote French language and culture, but also to encourage cross-cultural exchanges.

Our activities widen access to literature and improve diversity within publishing. We run projects that empower people from disadvantaged backgrounds and deprived communities to get their voices heard, mentor aspiring authors so that they can produce books that are widely read and which dispel negative stereotypes, as well as supporting books with important social and environmental themes.

The Old Needle Works is a Community Learning and Support Hub providing skills courses and groups to help local people with their wellbeing and mental health. We make lasting positive changes to improve life quality and chances. Courses including Maths, English, IT and creative, physical and crafting courses. Our premises is shared and acts as an incubator for other charities and social enterprise.

This charity improves the quality of life for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) through multi-sensory theatre in theatres and multi-sensory educational services in education settings. The charity is also dedicated to the promotion of awareness and the visibility of people with PMLD.

To promote, maintain, improve and advance education in and appreciation of the arts in all forms among the people of Streatham and the surrounding area.

Lawnmowers is a learning disabled-led company which provides rich and varied cultural training for people with learning difficulties. Programmes address social and educational issues, accessibility, sustainability, participation, enjoyment and building futures. All of our services relate directly to needs identified by learning disabled people.

The provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for girls who are in need of such provision because of their youth, age, infirmity, poverty, or social and economic circumstances and with the objects of improving conditions of life.

TO MAKE GRANTS TO STUDENTS STUDYING FINANCIAL JOURNALISM AND GIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO INTERNS WORKING IN THE OFFICES OF A FINANCIAL NEWSPAPER IN ORDER TO OBTAIN PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE.

HALTON SPEAK OUT was founded in 2001. We converted to a CIO in November 2016. We continue to support individuals with learning disabilities and other vulnerable people by offering a wide range of services including self advocacy, person centred planning, employment opportunities, training, peer advocacy, dramatic and visual arts education and participation.

Ozero Arts partners with cultural organisations and artists to conceive, produce and raise funds for bold ideas. The charity works across the arts but has a particular focus on classical music.
