The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social & spiritual potential. This is achieved through a programme of activities including creative arts, outdoor exploration, community, physical activities and international awareness often leading to badges & awards. These activities can take many forms indoors & outdoors.

Provision of village hall for parish events, meetings, social activities together with recreation ground for sporting activities. The geographical area covered is the parish of Tidenham although the use of the facilities is open to all for booking events.

Furthering the education of children

To preserve for the benefit of the City of York and the nation at large the freehold premises, situate and known as "The Masonic Hall, Duncombe Place" in the City of York.

As Scouts we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week Kineton Scout Group give young people of Kineton and the surrounding villages the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Providing scouting activities for young people.

A Sea Cadet Unit

Oulton Village Hall exists as an amenity for anybody who wishes to use it. It can be hired for any reasonable purpose and at the moment is used for a variety of regular groups which include, folk dancing, table tennis, water colour painting classes, W I , scouts, parties, weddings and It is run and cared for by a dedicated team of volunteers who all live locally.

2ND NAILSEA SCOUT GROUP INVOLVED IN ALL ASPECTS OF SCOUTING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS OF ALL AGES, TOGETHER WITH THE MAINTENANCE OF THE SCOUT HEADQUARTERS IN NAILSEA

The Friends currently provides -ú10,000 each year from the income of its capital funds for maintenance of the fabric. Additional monies are raised from talks and social events for Friends and their guests. An annual programme listing these events is sent out.

Scouts, Cubs and Beavers as part of the Scouting Association

The training of young people aged 10 yrs to 18 yrs in Royal Navy & Royal Marine activities. This includes various waterborne training, leadership, teamwork and various recreational and sporting activities.

To provide a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants without distinction of sex or of political ,relegious or other opinion

To or for the relief of the poor or needy and/or to/for such other charitable purpose institution society or object.

Sea Cadets aim to give young people the best possible head start in lift through nautical adventure and fun, based on the traditions of the Royal Navy

Benifit of such Masonic charities or other charitable institutions, societies and objects in the provision of tangible assets for the benifit of such organisations or individuals.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

To raise funds to help finance activities and projects to enhance learning. Any excess funds go to finance extra equipment on the school wish list.

Scouting, for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

The charity supports the work of Capital Church Cardiff. This includes providing regular public worship services, home-based study groups and social activities. Support is given to an organisation helping street sex workers in Cardiff. There are friendship and project links with churches in South Wales, Ghana, Guyana and Kenya.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE FOUNDATION ARE TO HELP PROMOTE AND PRESERVE THE RICH CULTURE AND HERITAGE OF IRAN. THE FOUNDATION INTERPRETS ITS REMIT GENEROUSLY AND ENCOURAGES A WIDE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES INTENDED TO PROVIDE A FORUM TO FACILITATE THE STUDY AND UNDERSTANDING OF IRAN'S CULTURE AMONG STUDENTS, THE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY AND THE PUBLIC AT LARGE.
