GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES

Scouting activities for children in the Keyworth, Nottingham area.

Raising money for local, national and international charities as approved by the trustees and providing service to the local community.

The object of the Charity is to apply capital and income to or for the relief of the poor and needy or to such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the Club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

Uniformed youth organisation for boys and girls aged 11 - 18

Provision of educational support to Southover School

General scouting activieties for boys and girls this includes:Camping, community work, general life skills

The Village Hall is used for parties, meetings, quizzes, theatre productions (pantomimes etc), plus childrens toddler groups, sports such as badminton, volleyball & yoga, also as polling station etc. Meetings include parish council, WI, gardeners clubs etc.

Fundraising and distibution of funds to Rotary and other charities. Charitable work in the community.

SCOUT GROUP ACTIVITIES INCLUDE CAMPING, HIKING, CLIMBING AND GAMES

The Friends of Jesmond Dene is an enviromental group dedicated to improve,protect and preserve for the benefit of the public the area known as Jesmond Dene in the County of Tyne & Wear.

The Church operates locally in relationship with a family of churches across the UK and abroad, supporting mission locally and abroad, and runs a community resource which is used by organizations as a community center. We also run community activities locally and provide support for Grace Advocacy helping to provide support to those in the local community who are need of assistance.

To offer the benefits of scouting to boys and girls aged 6-14 years

To advance the education of the pupils of the school by assisting in the provision of facilities for education and fulfilment at the school (not normally provided by the LEA). Alsoa) foster relationships between staff, parents, the wider community and others associated with the School(b) engage in activities that support the school advancing the education and personal development of pupils

Providing scouting activities

The Group was established in 1941 by the adoption of the Scouting Associations POR, by the founding group members who acted as trustees. The groups aim in common with that of the S.A. is the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people.

The purpose of the charity is to raise funds for the poor and needy and to provide relief by giving service in the form of help and support to the local community and to a certain extent nationally and internationally.

Sea Scouting activities to boys and girls between 6 - 18 years of age. Activities include sailing, canoeing, camping, hiking and other Scouting activities.The Group is RN recognised which allows members to visit and sleep aboard RN ships, when available. We provide training in a range of water based activities that gain members RYA certificates, and British Canoe Association certificates.
