The scout group was registered as a charity in October 1992, number 1014638. It's governing document is the Scouts Royal Charter.Objectives are to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical intellectual social and spiritual potentials as individuals as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities.

Built on the ethos and standards of the Royal Navy, Sea Cadet training focuses on water sports and seamanship (carried out on a local river, the sea, adjacent naval establishments) and soldiering skills for Royal Marine Cadets. Cadets can also take national awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh or even attain accredited qualifications in navigation, communication and management.

To maintain and promote a building to be used for educational and social purposes to the benefit of residents in and around Stoke Hammond.

Provide a venue for village social, cultural and educational activities, also available for private hire, parties & wedding receptions. Indoor bowls, Heyford Choir, Martial arts club, Film evenings, Pensioners Meals, Various keep fit classes, Women's Institute meetings, Garden Club & Flower club.

Provision of Village Hall for the use of the local and wider community, fundraising activities to maintain said hall and the general social activities of the community

The Community Centre is available for all different Activities which include Bowls, Whist,Line Dancing,Keep Fit Classes and pre school it is also available for weekend hire for functions such as Weddings and birthday parties. We also have a meeting room.

Providing Scouting activities in the Overton area

Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.

Working with young people from 4-19 years old. Providing activities both inside and outside with volunteers.

GENERAL SOCIAL ACTIVITIES TO THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF FERNHURST AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

Raising funds for the maintenance of the fabric of Widford Parish Church and the Churchyards and their enhancement and improvement.

Scout group operating under the policies, organisation & rules of the Scout Association.

Scouting Skills/camping/ Hiking/ Orienteering/ Knotting / self respect.General respect for others

Village Hall community activities including committee meetings, fayres, coffee mornings, pre-school, school gym, pantomimes, school plays, concerts and fund-raising events.

Scouting activities for boys and girls aged between 6 and 14

Activities provided for young people including camping, survival skills, craft activities, shared events with other groups, cooking, first aid and many other activities.

OAKDALE JUNIORS PTA HOLDS A NUMBER OF FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR FOR THE PUPILS WHO ATTEND OAKDALE JUNIOR SCHOOL AND THEIR FAMILIES. WITH THE MONEY RAISED FROM THESE ACTIVITIES OAKDALE JUNIORS PTA PROVIDE EQUIPMENT AND OTHER FUNDING TO ENHANCE AND SUPPORT THE EDUCATION OF THE CHILDREN WHO ATTEND THE SCHOOL.

The charity provides grants to young people who live in or were born in Charlton Kings and are under the age of 25. These grants are made for educational purposes - e.g. funding towards National Curriculum history trips, music lessons, activities associated with Guiding and Scouting (such as international gatherings), support for university or college education.

The management and upkeep of the Jubilee Hall to provide a venue for clubs, social and educational activities in the village, also to run events to raise funds for the upkeep of the hall and provide social activities for the village

To help young people get the best possible start in life through nautical adventure & fun

The Charity coordinates and assists the work of the Women's Institutes in Flintshire whilst maintaining a link between the National Federation of Women's Institutes and other county federations. The Charity organises courses of instruction, exhibitions, lectures and other educational activities.
