Llanfair Caereinion Public Hall & Institute is a community resource for the whole town and surrounding villages. Activities inc. library, polling station, WI, Merched y Wawr, Homely Club, Historical Soc., indoor bowls, pilates, yoga, choir, Welsh, Young Farmers, dance, drama, recording studio, concerts, Llanfair carnival, Christmas lights, wedding receptions, funeral teas, parties, etc.

We currently have around 100 members from six to fifteen years of age drawn from the local area. With membership open to all irrespective of sex, ethnicity, faith, or disability.Our aim is; To promote the development of young people to achieve their full potential, physically, intellectually, socially, spiritually, and to become responsible citizens.

To promote religious, Cultural & social activities for Hindu community in and around Cheltenham and Gloucestershire.to provide aid and advise to all community members.

Scouting for young people aged 6 years to 13 years

1ST SQUIRRELS HEATH SCOUT GROUP ORGANISES LOCAL SCOUTING ACTIVITIES AND INITIATIVES IN LINE WITH AND AS PART OF THE NATIONAL SCOUTING ASSOCIATION

The sea cadets provides educational and recreational activities to youngsters between 10-18 yrs. They are taught life skills such as catering, communications, computer skills, mechanical engineering and all aspects of boating skills.

The association aims to provide fun, adventure and skills for life and give young people the opportunity to enjoy new adventures, experience outdoors and take part in a range of creative, community and international activities, interact with others, make new friends, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential

St Andrews Community Centre within walking distance of a large local estate, next to the local Primary School.The Centre has a small facility but is well used by childrens activities, Pilates and Yoga groups, WW and Womens Institute meetings and Karate, for local community groups and children party hire.

We are part of The Scout Association, delivering weekly activities for young people aged 6 to 14 across North London. Our programme includes working towards Scout badges, as well as taking part in additional schemes such as the DofE. Alongside our regular meetings, we organise weekend and week-long camping trips. These experiences help young people build confidence and independence.

District Scout Council

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts belong to St Josephs Scout Group, which is based in Blundell Road in Luton. They meet once a week doing a variety of activities which are all age appropriate and this includes camping normally once a year.

A huge number of varied activities are provided to all young members who follow the guiding programme at unit, district, division or county level. The emphasis is on teamwork, caring for the individual and decision making.

The aim of the Sea Cadets is to help young people aged between 10 and 18 years towards responsible adulthood, by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy.

We continue to uphold the aims of the Scout Association. Our aim is to promote fun, friendship and ultimately self-sufficiency for our Explorers, Scouts, Beavers and Cubs.

Through fund-raising activities and service the Rotary Club of Harrogate provides support for local groups and individuals in need, and also, via Rotary International, for international health and welfare projects.

Whalley Village Hall exists for the benefit of the inhabitants of Whalley and neighbourhood by associating with voluntary and other organisations, in a common effort to advance education, social welfare and recreation and with the object of improving the condition of life for said inhabitants.
