As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people wirht skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 1st Barnham Scout Group give young people of Barnham and neighbouring villages the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

The Scout Group's objectives are to encourage the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people so as to take a constructive place in society by means of skills training, sporting and recreational activities, camping and outdoor activities. To enable this it has provided and maintains a permanent headquarters building and facilities surrounded by its own open space for outdoor activit

To pursue the objectives of the Guide Association UK by assisting girls and young women in the Guiding County of Lancashire West to fulfil their potential and take an active and responsible role in society.

The Hall has been used as a meeting place for many residents sharing a common interest with other sections of the community.Our main users are:- a thriving nursery school, local history group, women's institute, men's society, amateur dramatics society, Plaxtol parish council, church youth group and a toddlers group.

THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL AMENITIES AND ENTERTAINMENTS FOR PATIENTS AND NURSING STAFF OF THE NEATH HOSPITALS.THE CHARITY UNDERTAKES A WIDE RANGE OF FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND ACTS AS AN ORGANISATION FOR RECEIVING DONATIONS. FUNDS ARE DISTRIBUTED ACCORDING TO NEED AND DECIDED UPON AT MONTHLY EXECUTIVE MEETINGS.

Fundraising to support Widecombe-in-the-Moor Primary School

Dancing for all ages. WeightWatchers. Religous Activieies including Church Services. Keep Fit Classes. Bingo sessions. Harriers Club. Nursery Groups. Table Top Sales. Ladies Circle.

St. Andrew's Scout Group comprises 4 sections, Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Each section meets one evening a week during school term times, with a number of weekend activities throughout the year, either for a few hours or for the whole weekend; camps for example. During these times the youngsters, boys and girls, work towards achieving badges for a diverse number of activities.

The Charity's objectives are to advance the education of the public in the Shrine of the Lady Julian of Norwich and to advance religion by promoting and furthering the work of the Shrine of the Lady Julian of Norwich.

To raise funds through various activities for distribution to local, national and international worthy causes, both directly and through Rotary Foundation.

We provide a hall which is used for many activities, art classes, Welsh classes, music classes, craft classes, slimming clubs, whist and bingo clubs, the hall is used by the community for meetings, parties etc. We keep the costs low to encourage everyone to make use of the hall.

The building is let to local users for all different educational and social activities and reserved for Sunday school or other Church acctivities on Sundays.

Friends of Coltishall Primary School supports pupils at Coltishall Primary School, Norfolk, by funding enrichment, wellbeing and educational opportunities beyond core school budgets. We do this through fundraising, volunteering and community events, helping provide resources such as library books, visits, transport, music, cultural experiences and visiting experts.

White oak way schools association supports the staff, parents and children of Hannah More Infant and Grove School through fundraising and social activities

The hall is rented out, money from this goes to the upkeep of the hall.

Fund raising in the form of Firework Display, Xmas Fayre, Raffles, Quiz nights, Discos, Race nights,Theme nights and sponsored events involving the children of the school.

To support the education of the children at this secondary school by raising funds.

To promote and encourage people with and without physical disabilities to come together on equal terms. To achieve complete integration within the wider community providing social activities inc swimming. Providing transport people with disabilities, elderly and other with mobility problems - carers.

We provide Scouting activities for young people between the ages of 4 and 25 years.We operate in the Frinton, Walton and Kirby areas of Essex

The Friends of St James Mission & School, Zimbabwe (FSJMS) funds a pre school teacher salary and bursaries for able girls from the primary into the boarding school 80 km northwest of Bulawayo. We also provide school lunch for 220 Preschool/Primary pupils who live in & around St James mission between Nymandhlovu & Tsholotsho. The trustees and some committee members were teachers at the school.
