Scout and Guide Group

As per laid down by the Scout Association

The provision of facilities for people to hire for private or public functions, activities workshops etc. Current hirers include short mat bowls, craft, fitness training, Kent County Council Day Opportunities Service, The Arts Society Canterbury, Asbestos Cancer Support group, womens institute, organ club and whist. Monthly bingo and dances.

Raising money for rotary charities and good causes.

To provide and promote facilities in the interest of social welfare, recreation, education or other leisure / caring occupation for youth, community groups and pre schools. This is for the benefit of inhabitants of all ages from Flitwick and the surrounding areas.

Beaver, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer group based at The Barn.

The main purposes of the Women's Institute organisation are to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts and sciences, to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions, in music, drama, all branches of agriculture, home economics, health and social welfare.

The aim of the Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Raising money for the support and maintenance of the structure and fabric of the ancient church of St. Eadburgha's, Broadway, Worcestershire and the maintenance of its curtilage.

The charity exists simply to raise funds through numerous events aimed at parents,children and friends of Beech Hall School Macclesfield.

Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling and canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends, having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges. Every week we give almost half a million 6-25 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills for life.

Operation of Scout group

We organise events throughout the school year to raise funds in order to enhance the school life of our pupils.

The Group provides Scouting activities for beavers, cubs and scouts from the age of 6 to 14..

To provide a wider knowledge, understanding, education, and friendship among our members, with informative speakers and visits, with regular sociable meetings, within the influence of our National Federation of Women's Institutes

Our mission is to help improve the lives of the most disadvantaged children of Colombia. We fulfill our mission by donating medical, educational and other necessary equipment to institutions that have been set up to help these children.
