Raise funds for the general assisstance of both local,regional and international needy groups and individuals.

Longford Village Hall is used both by the parishioners and by the general public. Groups that use it on a regular basis include Guides and Brownies, social groups and specific activity groups, a calendar is available on our website, www.longfordvillagehall.org.On a regular basis the committee has organised community events including, Quiz nights, craft sales and Car Boot sales.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Provide and maintain a Youth Centre building for the use of both youth and adult groups for activities such as Scouting, Keep Fit, Dance Classes and other sporting and ad hoc uses.

The Community Centre provides varied activities for the benefit of the community which we serve. These include - stroke club - computer club - children's disco - warm zone drop-ins - band rehearsals- church groups- - day carers group - disabled group - keep fit classes - social activities - rugby training and a meeting venue, activity groups and a gardening/social group.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE; CHILDRENS PARTIES, FESTIVALS & FUN DAYS, DOG TRAINING, PRIVATE FUNCTIONS, CUBS & SCOUTS, TODDLERS GROUP, KARATE, ANNUAL & PUBLIC COMMUNITY EVENTS.

We provide education/training through fun/games & projects etc. in citizenship.

In accordance with the Scout and Guide Association to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citzens and as members of their local, national and international communities

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 33rd Sutton Coldfield (1st Bannersgate) Scout Group give young people of Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

For the welfare, and social activities for retired people. Minimum joining age 50.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION

To provide a meeting place for local activity groups which include: Women's Institute, Y.F.C., Table Tennis Club, Short Mat Bowls and meetings of the Community Council ; it is used by local residents for birthday parties, receptions after funerals and other family functions. We hold an annual Christmas party for local people as well as fund-raising coffee mornings.

To maintain and manage the Victoria Hall, the adjoining Sports Field and the Multi Unit Games Area.

This Charity was established to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Woodston, Peterborough and of the surrounding areas. This is achieved by advancing education, providing recreation and leisure facilities and promoting chartiable purposes throughout the community.

Our centre is self-financing and managed by volunteers. We provide a pleasant venue for local residents and groups. Activities include art, ladies choir, W.I. and day centre for the elderly (run by volunteers), also yoga and pilates for adults plus karate classes for children. We have fund raising events i.e. craft & plant sales, afternoon teas, music and social events throughout the year.

Provides facilities for sports and social clubs and private hirings

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the community of Rudbarton and the surrounding district by providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of the said inhabitants.

Activities for the relief of the poor and needy and events for the encouragement of young people

The Society was formed in 1965 to establish a circle of friends of Towneley Hall. The aim is to help stimulate public interest in the Hall and to protect, preserve and enhance the amenities of the Hall (and gardens). There are also social events at Christmas and Easter. These raise money to provide amenities for the Hall.

Operation of a Sea Scout Group

TO PROVIDE A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES ,SPORT AND SKILLS WHICH ARE ATTRACTIVE AND ADVENTUROUS WITHIN A CARING DISCIPLINE BASED ON THE HIGH STANDARDS OF THE ROYAL NAVY, TO WHICH YOUNG PEOPLE CAN RESPOND AND WHICH WILL, IN TURN, ASSIST THEIR DEVELOPMENT OF SELF-CONFIDENCE, SELF-DISCIPLINE, LEADERSHIP AND A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY TO THE COMMUNITY.

PLACE OF WORSHIP, SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, EDUCATION, SPORTS, YOUTH ACTIVITIES, HEALTH RAISE AWARENESS AMONG MUSLIMS OF ISSUES RELATED TO DRUGS AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES, BIRTH & DEATH RELATED ISSUES, PROVIDE COMMUNICATION LINK WITH HEALTH ORGANISATION RAISE AWARENESS OF MUSLIMS ISSUES. MATRIMONIAL PROVIDE COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT FOR MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE ISSUES
